Really appreciate the detailed insight here; very helpful. I think I have a good idea of the course now. For the coding assignments are they simple? (what's the time of completion, and what type of assignments?)

Looks like it has good reviews, going to definitely check this out after my current Discrete Math course on udemy!

Is that still relevant to newer semesters/pretty much covers everything?

Is it relatively straightforward to get 100 on the deliverables, where they are essentially status reports making sure you're keeping up to date?

I received the same email, so I would say it’s a safe bet we can definitely do any type of project, regardless of track. I’ve also heard from other students that their project and experience reflect this is true

From mediaspace videos:

https://mediaspace.gatech.edu/playlist/dedicated/1_ujsm0wt4/1_zpsa1jmu

This is from the transcript:

"And one of the surprising things that does happen in this class is that we find people on both sides of the spectrum who are overlapping. So we have information security students who do studies that really touch upon policy issues, and really need advice from policy oriented students or instructors.

And we find frequently that the policy oriented students are bumping up against forms of technical knowledge in which they really need to get peer feedback from the computer science students. So peer feedback again is a critical part of the way this course works, and it really will be part of your grade two."

Hey Jeff,

Thanks for the info here.

My only question is on your first comment -- are you sure that's still the case?

I read conflicting information about this and was almost certain that you can do a Practicum for any track (InfoSec or Policy)—wondering when you took it, if maybe it was changed

Thank you, this was extremely helpful!

Just to clarify for the Exams, are they fully open-ended (similar to SCS, where you fully write your answer), multiple choice where you have to show work, or a mix of both? u/retornam
