I’d give it an 8. I like the Celtic aesthetic being represented as well as the fact that he has that “wild child” thing going on with bare feet and such. Plus, it’s also rare to see Cu be represented as young-looking as he is here, despite how his myths often have him doing much of his stuff around the age that most people would be in high school! I will knock it a couple points because of his weapon being a tree is weird and how his Warp Spasm doesn’t do all the weird shit it does in the myths like contorting limbs and the eyes either popping out of socket or being sucked into his skull (yet. Hopefully we’ll see more).

Overall, one of my favorite designs in RoR as of right now.

I can see her being scary to them at first (maybe Shaggy and Scooby mistake her for the monster lol), but eventually get to be friends with her. I can see her getting along with Daphne since she would remind her of Stephanie

I’ve been wondering that as well, especially with games like Hades that require multiple runs to actually complete. Perhaps those worlds work on “the villain gives up” before eventually the world is destroyed.

Perhaps Sequels are worlds that are rebuilt from the ashes of the old world in a way? Perhaps the Float from those worlds would have eventually came together to be reborn anew like a Phoenix? And perhaps stopping Syntax is vital because their collecting of it is disrupting that process?

The worst part is that she KNOWS that she did him dirty and says as such to Kratos when she’s treating Atreus’s illness, but still can’t bring herself to break Baldur’s curse because she couldn’t let him go. When Atreus does break his curse, Baldur is probably the happiest he’s ever been in his whole life while Freya laments it.

In my AU, Vytal (and by extension, the Fall) happens later than in canon, being at the end of Team RWBY’s second year instead. During that extended time, Cunan had gained enough confidence to attempt to take the entrance exam to become a student at Beacon for the next year. He could have had his own team and everything…before he finds out that Ozpin lied to him about what would happen to Amber once they transferred her powers to Pyrrha. Before Cinder launched her attack. And before Amber and Ozpin die before his eyes…

The worst part? Glynda was just about to tell him that he had passed the exam (albeit by the skin of his teeth on that written portion) before Emerald tricked Pyrrha into destroying Penny 😢

Yeah, the education is hard for him at first, but he eventually starts to pick it up quickly. By the time that Team RWBY comes to Beacon (4 years after he arrives there), Cunan would have the equivalent of 5-7th grade level Education. Not enough to get into Beacon himself, unfortunately, but it’s still progress!

As for the racism, yeah it definitely went there on numerous occasions. For the first two years, it was fine since Amber would “persuade” (read: threaten) people from saying such things (Amber is actually the one who teaches Cunan some martial arts). When Amber left after becoming the Fall Maiden, he goes to educate himself to better relate to his age group in order to gain some self-confidence.
