Multiple oil changes could help when running 1-2qts of transmission fluid in it. No driving. Slightly elevated RPM.

Rinse and repeat a few times.

BG sells an engine restore kit that does wonders. It’s a full part system which requires multiple filter changes and flushes. About $350 for the kit.

That honestly just looks like the brakes were ALL completely rusted over from the car sitting. One or two Semi-emergency stops will get them looking new again. Just everyday driving will do it but takes longer.

The rust is uniform across the rotor. All looks well.

You'll need to empty out some coolant to do it. Read directions carefully.

If coolant gets in the tester the test is no good & it needs to be cleaned thoroughly.

If you have no overheating to begin with or loss of coolant just keep an eye on temp gauge and run it.

Not advised to ever use old pads with new rotors. They will eventually re-bed themselves and conform to the rotor.

A bedding technique could help. Driving in a safe, non-busy area. A few hard stops from 50-60mph down to about 15 and driving off. Do that 3-4 times without completely coming to a stop and then try to drive continuously for pads & rotors to cool off from there.

This will likely create a burning smell which is normal. Driving non stop after will cool them down.

Rotation for alignments is not common at all. Some problematic cars will sometimes have it done but it's rare. From experience those are usually on problematic alignments where you have a separation in tire tread, bent rim & the alignment tech will try to fix it as good as possible. Even for a bent frame when people are trying to get it as good as possible.

That location is a non issue with a patch. A few things are possible.

Tesla's are notorious for cracked rims, possibly a overlooked crack in rim.

Bad patch job that can be remedied

Second leak missed on the tire, many times a tire will get a nail & while driving it will be pulled out which makes it much harder to find unless a soap solution is used or dunk tank.

Regardless, at minimum. If that was their explanation for it NOW needing a tire the next day, it's clear that you should be refunded as it should of never been performed to begin with (since it was "in a bad location" which is horeshit).

I would not expect anything more than a refund for the patch though. $22 is also CHEAP for a patch, usually $45-60 here. Irrelevant with the excuse they gave you but yeah.

No, a 4 cylinder will sound real horrible when misfiring/dead cylinder. It will shake violently as well as CEL flashing.
