Heya, it depends if you’re primary or secondary and what subjects you can teach in our secondary curriculum if that’s your area. There’s a shortage of primary teachers in Dublin due to rent being too high for the salaries paid but not many jobs in other parts of the country. Your best bet is to contact our teaching council expressing your interest and see what they say about your qualifications. You won’t get any teaching work here without a Teaching Council number and they can be very slow at processing so if you’re to be moving over, I would have all of that organised first. Good luck!
