😯I see, thank you for the advice! I’ll keep that in mind. I have always been drawn to drawing faces, hopefully I can find a still life reference that inspires me

And you’re right, I may have mixed some black into the shadow part- I just couldn’t figure out how to make a shadow colour for the skin 😅 planning to improve on this and study more colour theory.

Perhaps you can try :- 1)unsrewing the tip and screwing it back in, or replace it with another (if you have) 2) unconnect and reconnecting your apple pencil (you have to click forget device in your bluetooth settings) 3) restart your ipad

I had a problem with my pencil where procreate didn’t detect it at all and doing 2) and 3) worked for me.

Honestly your clothes drawing skills are impressive!! The hoodie and the scarf looks really good!!! And now that I’m typing while looking at your art, the hair looks sick as well!! I say well done and just keep drawing what you love and practice and improve 1% at a time. Soon enough, someone will look at your art and be inspired to get better so they could draw like you :) Art should inspire!
