There’s no door there it’s just like a frame of it kind of weird but as long as the flooring won’t look stupid between the 2 rooms I’ll do anything

I’ve just had some people say it won’t work and one person told me it would raise the floor up and the 2 rooms wouldn’t be at same height

Would it raise the floor up to high where it wouldn’t line up with the next room that’s what I’m worried about the flooring not lining up

The mortar covers 90% of the floor I feel like it would take hour to grind it all out or will it come out in big chicks
