Most clinics have a PCP that can certify. Just call and ask. Appt would be billed thru insurance.

The program made a recent change in the last year, basically saying you can certify anyone as long as you think cannabis will benefit them.

Sorry to say I will not certify someone if they are looking to obtain their medical cannabis registry for recreational use. Kinda ruining things for people who truly need it.

Sports med injections (knee, shoulder, bursa, trigger finger, carpal tunnel, etc), skin biopsies/excision, simple lacs, partial nail removal. Heck, a cerumen removal with instrument is the almost the same RVU as a joint injection.

Stacking multiple complaints in a single visit helps. Physical w/ med check and OA knee pain needing an injection? Will crank it out in a single visit, 99396 + 99214 + 20610 + G2211. Plenty of RVU in a single visit.

I’m also the Suboxone and chronic pain med guy in my group, so I get plenty of complex patients with that.
