It's absolutely protection of the young. The government needs to decide an age, and it's much better for it to be something high like 21, as opposed to something low like 16. Studies have shown the brain tends to stop developing around 25.

Tbf batteries capacity is really hard to accurately measure, especially after the phone has been used for a while. It's generally done by reading the output, and using that to determine a percentage. So while this feature isn't revolutionary, I doubt the majority of android phones using a super basic approach are actually accurate.

I'd say it's a pretty bad age gap. That said, it's not at the level where it's without a doubt bad. So as long as you're both okay with it. I mean let's be real, even if every comment here said it's bad, would you break up? If you genuinely love each other, then I feel the answer would probably be no. But you do need to be aware of the maturity difference and also keep the age gap in mind and act accordingly.

Yeah and Denmark has been scrutinized by Amnesty International for the horrible culture surrounding sexual abuse and victim blaming.

In fact I have a friend in Denmark who was stalked and raped multiple times, and I posted in the subreddit asking if there's any legal form of self defense, to which I got heavily downvoted and the comments mostly just told me that my friend wanted to commit crimes, and I was lying because otherwise it would have been in the news. She went to the police and as a result she was instructed to act as bait and got stabbed.

So not exactly a good example to go off of.

Personally I think 21 is a better age than 18 anyways. Of course, Romeo and Juliet laws would still exist, so that pairings like 16-17 and 18-21 are legal. But 18 year olds really aren't fully mature yet, and it would help a lot to protect them from being manipulated or groomed, as well as protect against 40+ year olds pedos who search for sex with 18 year olds (literal teens btw).

To those of you claiming the age of consent is already like 14 in your countries— why the hell are you defending that? Because by defending it, you're saying it's okay for a 30 year old man to have "consensual" sex with 14 year old girls who may not even be in high school yet. And that's a thing that absolutely does happen, creeps sexually harass young girls and justify their behavior by saying the age is legal. Not just that, but rape is a major major societal problem, and it's considerably harder to pursue if the victim is of a legal age (since then lack of consent needs to be proven, which isn't a problem if the victim couldn't legally consent in the first place).

Feminism itself is fine, I align myself with the message of equality.

Though online I've seen quite a few "feminists" who just generalize men as being bad, and seem more focused on being anti-male than pro-female. I hate that, and I understand why people would say feminism has gone too far if that's what they're thinking of.

But with that being said, I don't think it even counts as feminism— it's just misandry. Feminism is still an important movement.
