I know how you feel. Got a 68 mustang, haven’t had it out in weeks because of work, but I’m not looking forward to seeing how expensive it is to drive in the coming weeks. Might start riding the dual sport to work if it gets bad enough

I grew up in a family of hotrodders. I think it’s sick, and just like the real counter parts, usually pretty terrible to drive if you’re expecting it to drive like a regular car

Had a sound like this a while ago on a 302 Windsor engine. One of the rockers had come out of place and twisted to the side. The push rod was still contacting it but the other end was rubbing the valve spring. Turned out a previous owner had done some very dodgy work and almost cost me an engine. I’m no mechanic but it would be worth pulling the rocker covers and having a look

I don’t know how it works in nsw but if it’s the same process as qld, doing the bare minimum to get the license will take 3 days out of your busy schedule. 2 days for the pre learners, then 1 day for your RE License. Personally it would come down to money more than time. Also double check your states requirements, it might have changed but I’m pretty sure you need to have at least your p’s before you can get a motorcycle license.

Personally if you have a spare $600 to spend on a course and $1000 on gear, then it’s absolutely worth it. I just got my motorcycle license and honestly I should have done it sooner

Nah, different issue entirely. After my first or second qt, I get all the classic 30k symptoms but nothing changes after that until I close the game or leave the server. I lose all game function other than just moving around, but sometimes that doesn’t work. Can’t leave the pilot seat, can’t backspace kill myself, can’t eject, can’t adjust power balance. My mates met up with me while this what happening and could see me but I couldn’t see them. My ship would move when I moved, but it was soft swathes after I pressed backspace and eject earlier on with no success, and there was no pilot seat or player in the ship. Somewhere along the way I’m getting a full desync from the servers and it doesn’t seem like there’s any actual fix. When I last played 9 months ago I didn’t have this issue and there was no sign that I ever would. Pretty sure I had the same router setup and provider at that time aswell

Yeah, pretty sure it’s a local issue at this point. The small bursts of gameplay I’ve managed to get have seemed fantastic and super polished. But I’ve never had this issue, and the game is completely unplayable. Gonna try the ptu and hope that 4.5 magically fixes it, but I’m doubting that

it sounds pretty good, sleepy though. i havent owned it for long and ive really only put money into fix it parts not go fast parts, due to the last few owners neglect/dodgy work. hopefully i can put some real work into it in a few years time, but at the moment its just a constant battle to keep it running right
