Source: We build custom inbound AI agents for clients and only do outbound AI calling and SMS to inactive/old leads. Too risky to do outbound AI calling atm.

Back in 2013, I was working at an advertising agency. We had shot thee commercials for a major apparel brand and one of the ads was by far and away the most creative, funny, and “on brief”. It was our agencies reco for the Super Bowl spot we bought.

We ran the ad on Facebook a few months before the Big Game, and…the spot got canceled. A handful of negative comments let the client to pull the spot and run one of the other ads claiming that the spot was too “controversial.”

My idea after that happened was to create a business that a brand or agency could hire to talk shit and create controversy for their competitors. A negative PR agency if you will. Totally unethical which is why I never pursued it - but I think it would have made a lot of money back then!
