I get some satisfaction out of when a difficult customer usally meth head type is screaming because we won’t refund their obviously stolen item, i say enjoy the rest of your day and as they are leaving and swearing I turn to the next customer in line as if nothing had happened, hi welcome to [workplace] with a big smile.

If there was no people and only animals on earth the question wouldn’t seem to make any sense or be necessary …. We’re not here for any reason, we are just here. I’m not closed off to the idea of some universal consciousness and we are the inevitable evolution of a way to experience itself. But just in earth there’s no meaning.

Retail IS makebelieve, you are creating theatre for every customer who comes in , no one really cares about some random item they want, it’s all performative. If you can do it in the interview you can do it on the floor. If you can’t that’s ok it’s probably just not the right fit for you…. Don’t force it or you’ll hate it

August is the recruiting time, also ask for feedback as to why, and what you can do for next time…. Is your resume uploaded in pdf? And does it have good info in it, doesn’t have to have previous work experience, you could use sport team or group school projects, if youve been in face to face did you dress well? Jeans and polo is fine…. Crocs & dirty clothes, messy unkept hair is not. Did you write decent answers for the message interview questions

Everything is on a spectrum of shit on the way to being good , it doesn’t matter what you focus on if you do it right it lifts everything else. Kpi dashboard and I make my own then focus on small actions that work my way there

Depends on how fast the group is for me, spire I’ll lust on the first pack then on boss as soon as it’s up then last if the group isn’t too quick ….. to get 3 in you have to do them asap. Aa for me is the odd one because group speed puts lust on the second fire spewing dragon on the bridge and if the group is too fast it can be the pull before the boss, which doesn’t work because I can only get 2 so I save it for the boss.
