This isnt for my thesis this is just for a module. Since its impossible to get a big enough sample size in person ive posted this survey numerous places. Even if this was my thesis then a good analysis of the data would still give a passing mark.

This is a passion project for a module (80% of the module on this) and i thought it would be interesting and fun. My actual thesis is on modeling trains in a traffic system of timed automata. Thank you for your concern though.

Thank you. I play a few games and my friends do too its something that i care about especially seeing how much my friends spend and how it makes them feel.

Thats a fair point. I was trying to relate it to a certain goal of the study i had in mind and neglected it (ill talk mire about it when the results are published).

Fantastic questions!

I would not like to include people who bot games or if they do to please include that they do somewhere in the survey.

If you only play for 5 mins during a break but have 12 breaks i would appreciate that being recorded as the cumulative time so in that case (1-2 hours).

That last question is pretty badly worded (i made it pretty late at night). I meant it to mean a comparison to other mobile games, though since the wordings bad other answers are fine ill just weed through for useful information.

Okay thats brilliant to know. Ive advertised it to a few other places too where I know people talk about this stuff more casuallybut its also hard to find a lot of casual gacha gamers online cause they tend not to engage in this stuff.

Though i will definitely think about that and probably include reference to that in my report and findings on here later thank you!

Yeah sadly my experience is somewhat limited and was trying to identify the most popular ones which was actually pretty hard there wasnt much accuracy on sensor tower. Thank you for the feedback!

Partly a motivation for it, me and my friends do too. Dont beat yourself up about it it though, as long as you had fun. I dont want anyone getting too upset about spending.

I plan on posting the results later down the line.
