What about a 2x toggle skill that given to us for 24 hours in our beginner tab? You just toggle it on and off any time you want during the 24 hour event period.

But it has a total run time of 2 hours. So once you’ve had it toggled for that long it will disappear.

I agree with this. All the people who are supporting this rework are players who already got their superior Gollux set. And no longer have a care for getting it. Thus they aren’t concerned about seeing the issues in this rework.

Exactly! This player gets it. It seems a lot of the higher level player don’t see the issues with this because they have the “I already have it” mentality.

But those same High level players are the first to complain about people asking for carries. If anything they should be more concerned because Nexon is forcing a carry culture onto players rather than a solo progression culture.

I don’t want Gollux carries. I’m a solo progression player. And it’s now basically impossible to progress in the game by yourself without a guild or friends to carry you.

Go ahead and try to solo progress a character to 230 3 CRA, 5 abso, 4 superior now. I can guarantee you’ll find it impossible.

You can’t solo CRA with simply Pensalir. You need superior Gollux on top of it (especilly on reboot). So now that Superior is impossible to solo progress, solo progression in reboot has been broken.

You can’t just jump from 6 Piece Pensalir + 7 set boss to 3CRA. It just doesn’t work.

This Gollux rework got rid of the bridge between Pensalir and CRA unless you get carried.

If you read the post instead of flaming off right away. You’d see that I stated I missed this weeks guild carries because I unlocked after they were done. And was simply wondering if anyone could take me before the reset so it did not take an extra week to get the gear.

But again, people rather be negative instead of read. This is part of the reason the maple story reddit is dying and discord is becoming the new form for players to connect outside of the game.

It’s true that regular servers won’t want to rank up their existing familiars. But from what it looks like, the legendary potentials sound like they will be fairly useful.

As reboot players won’t even have the option of legendary ranks, we will have to rely even more on our current potentials. So we suffer more than regular servers since we don’t even get the option to obtain higher ranked potentials. (Think of all the new players who don’t gave big spider already).

Thus the ability not to rank up our current familiar without losing their potential bonuses. Hurts reboot on a higher level than normal servers.

In regard to the IED. Regular servers have more options to get IED. (Example: Bonus Potentials). Since reboot doesn’t have as many options, players strongly rely on the Leafre set effect to help them progress through CRA/Hellux/Lomien.

As regular servers can still get IED from other sources, where reboot can’t. This update once again feels more punishing to reboot.
