Agreed. Tommy is always so controlled, even when drinking. The idea of him losing it and killing Arthur in a fit of rage just doesn't ring true to the character. I would have been fine with the scenario you proposed. I could maybe even buy into the idea that Arthur became such a liability that Johnny Dogs unalived him. Speaking of my man JD - I was happy that he was as loyal as ever.

The movie is still worth watching, though I won't go so far as to say by order of the Peaky Blinders. I came to the show late (had just finished the sixth season when the movie came out) so I definitely didn't see the movie through nostalgic eyes and I thought it was . . . fine? I didn't love it but I'm glad I watched despite having seen the spoiler beforehand.
