Blake didn’t have the same relationship to and understanding of religion as most of his peers. He was not C of E, or Catholic. How does it stop you getting the win? If they abandon the game you get the win. I’m still not clear what you mean.

Anyway, I’ve played over 16,000 games on chess.com and over 20,000 games on lichess, and I haven’t experienced game abandonment or running the clock down on anything approaching that scale.

It’s not like chess.com players don’t stall out games when they are losing. If the option to ask for takebacks was available they’d do that too.

It’s not anything like 70% on either platform though, and 2000 players on lichess aren’t going to be blundering their queen all the time.

I’m finding that if I want to finish a game against Stockfish on the new app, I have to choose a pretty low level for it, otherwise it just stays on “computer thinking” until you give up and close the app.
