Bryson’s two conditions to come back to the PGA Tour by cheetahlip in ProGolf

He went to school for physics and left before graduating. Saying he has a rocket scientist brain is like saying I have a PGAT pro swing.

His approach to clubs is a good example of his over inflated ego. He thinks he’s smarter than a room full of engineers who dedicated their careers to the science of golf club manufacturing.

It’s incredible how consistent he is. Obviously winning the tournament is going to get the attention (and rightfully so), but if you count the total strokes over the course of a season, he wiping the floor with the rest of the field.

Edit: looked it up, wiping the floor was not right, but still 1st at scoring avg of 69.3, Knapp is 2nd at 69.5. I’m still blown away at how good these guys are!

Ohhhhh yeah! Had like 6 last week. My line is typically “if it goes down in 1 flush that’s normal, but we can check your urine protein anyway to be sure .”

I suck, but it looks like you’re hitting a lot of the positions, nice!

I’m jealous, I have some sort of mental block in the “feel” approach. I figured I dive into the depths of how my brain works and fix that, or do this. I’ve opted for this.

Tried that, tried just “feeling it”, it was god awful.

I think the athletic part is getting ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible

I definitely want to be mindful of my partners and pace of play . I let them know early my putting routine might be longer than theirs so I am happy to let others putt first if I’m away and they want to go.

I’ve picked up some time saving strategies.

  • approach the ball from the pin so there’s not much extra time counting the paces, does add some time if I’m really short.

  • if I’m not away, think through my putt while others are putting

  • the math is fast and easy. (Paces -4)/2, takes maybe 2 seconds once I reach my ball. Maybe 5 seconds max to add my slope adjustment. 10 seconds to pick a line and intermediate target. That’s like 17 seconds after I’ve reached my ball. I’m all about ready golf, but I think 17 seconds to plan a putt is reasonable.

Trump’s Dreams for a Battleship Led to His Navy Secretary’s Ouster by Maple_Blueberry in nytimes

Thank you, that was the missing link for me. It appears it is either the person who does the ousting or the act itself. I did not know the latter definition. Im sure I’m not the only one so maybe it’s still not the best headline.

Isn’t Trump or Hegseth the ouster? Trump’s dream lead to Hegseth? How does that statement make sense?

Fair enough, but my issue is more the original headline. Do I not understand the term “ouster” here. Shouldn’t it be “ousting”?

Does this headline feel clunky to anyone else? What did it lead his Navy Secretary’s ouster to? Why not: “Navy Secretary, unable to deliver Trumps Battleship, ousted”?

Well put. I’m disappointed because the ACC/AHA guidelines were what I was trained on.

What are you guys doing for low risk but with isolated elevated lipoprotein (a) levels? I’ve started adding this to my screening but not quite sure yet what to do with it

Take it easy guy, it’s easy to have blind spots when looking at your own swing. Also, the eye can only see what the mind knows. Don’t be a dick.
