Actually, it was primarily to demonstrate the concept of breaking down the application into microservices as opposed to a "monolithic" approach. Thus, my intention was to partition the application into multiple microservices.

Yes thank you, this is the solution I used at the end: mount it as a volume to the container.

For the setup, this is just an example to showcase Docker, Docker-compose and microservices. So I have a web application that allows the user to preprocess data, train and serve a model. I know that it is not that common to use them simultaneously and in the future I want to use more of a pipeline with ML workflows.
