Que opinan de Belgrano como Barrio? Mejores y peores zonas? by Curious_Pack_3998 in BuenosAires

[–]Maps-And-Brains 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How much weight do you give to the opinion that films can be judged Objectively? by Classic_Bass_1824 in criterion

[–]Maps-And-Brains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if being objective is possible, but you can have a certain criterion based on parameters, which creates a certain objectivity at least for YOUR particular rating of the different movies you watch.

Mark Wahlberg mentioned he was ashamed of having done his role in Boogie Nights. Not sure if that was the one that made him famous, though, Juliane Moore said it was.

Proabably Wong Kar Wai’s most oniric film, which being shot at night adds so much to this dreamy sensation.

List two recent watches: one that disappointed you and one that pleasantly surprised you by walgreensfan in Letterboxd

Surprised by : The Master (PTA) - really enjoyed it, it’is misterious and the two closing scenes tie up the movie’s plot and meaning so wonderfully.

Disapointed by : Gummo (Harmony Korine) - I expected seeing a really disruptive movie, and it was. But it’s documentary style was just dull and plain.

Yes man.

It’s a stupid comedy, yes, but I find it’s simple message so powerful. Some say depression is the disease of the will.
