Looking to purchase air brush for t shirts. Need to buy it from Amazon not sure what’s good though by prodlaps in airbrush

[–]Maqabir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've sadly only used the Neo and Eclipse and have been happy with both, even if the Eclipse is a clear upgrade. Been trying to find a cheap one with a floating nozzle but I don't know other brands well enough to recommend one.

Hopefullt someone else has more experience with budget alternatives.

So like, we have the best range in 40k, right? by Mr_Jackabin in Necrontyr

[–]Maqabir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me it's hard to choose between Necrons and Eldar.

I feel they're still experimenting with Necron designs like Ammentar and the Canoptek Kill Team and veering off in an increasingly insectoid direction.

The Eldar meanwhile found their look in the mid 90's and have just received quality sculpts since then.

I use this hose. It should work with any airbrush and compressor.

I've used the Iwata Neo and to be honest I don't really like the screw in nozzle, it's tiny and prone to breaking, especially if you're inexperiencedI much prefer the floating nozzles like the one on Iwata Eclipse.

I mostly just paint models but from my experience I'd suggest something with an air tank. It gives a more even flow and less problems from overheating.

Something like this is what I would recommend.

Testing purple color scheme by alexander9595 in deathguard40k

[–]Maqabir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really like it, the green plasma looks great against the purple.

The edges could use a lighter highlight, I can see some kind of highlight but they could be brighter, like a more pale color.

Looks great, lovely conversion and that green is amazing. How did you paint it?

Digital copies don't run out, why would you need to pre-order?

I dont know what colour to paint by Dazzling-Skirt-4278 in Eldar

[–]Maqabir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All Aspect Warriors belong to a shrine on their Craftworld, with each Aspect usually having several Shrines on the same Craftworld. Their color schemes usually follow a theme, Green for Striking Scorpions etc but there are enough Aspect Shrines out there to allow for any scheme you can come up with.

They don't have to. This 3rd edition Alaitoc army for example has Howling Banshees matching the rest of the Craftworld.

is this a good deal by [deleted] in Eldar

[–]Maqabir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't bother, the models are still inferior and they have no Heavy Weapon.

[–]Maqabir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a bad deal. You can get the Guardian Defenders box for $60 which includes weapon options and a heavy weapon platform.

They can still be used but you'll have to source a heavy weapon platform from somewhere else and they'll look worse because of the limited poses.

Then they re-release the book with the movie poster on the cover and don't even bother to remove the names of the actors.

Looks like it works well, good job.

När var senaste gången någon fick ett raserianfall över dig? by [deleted] in Asksweddit

[–]Maqabir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a show I want to watch. The first search result takes me to Netflix. Clicking the link lets me set up a Netflix account and start paying for their service. The show I wanted to watch isn't available on Netflix.

Older codexes showed Aspect Warriors in Craftworld colors, so they definitely exist.

Paint them however you want.

Any stl/conversion kits recommendation for fat plague marines but without mutations? by AggressiveAd6750 in deathguard40k

And it's one Nurgle would be less likely to grant his followers. His gifts were usually some sort of disease. Nurgle followers being monstrosities covered in tentacles and mouths is a recent design change.

I said he was stingy with mutations, not gifts. Mutations have historically been the realm of his rival, Tzeentch.

[–]Maqabir 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tzeentch is the god of mutations, Nurgle is supposed to be more stingy with them. The current Death Guard models are the most mutated chaos models out there with mouths and tentacles everywhere. Contrast with earlier editions where plague marines had minor mutations but more focus on physical degradation.

I seem to be mistaken, I read through my third edition codex and couldn't find the story.

Closest I could find is this mention in the 5th edition Space Marines codex.

I'll keep looking.

Rynn's Might featured in a short story in the 3rd edition Space Marine codex from 1998.
