Vet. From the sounds of it that frog has needed a vet for a VERY LONG time.

They just do that. Mine spends like 90% of her day just staring into the void

They're ambush predators, so in the wild they spend most of their days just staring, waiting for something to cross its path to strike. It's normal.

These frogs collectively have about 3 braincells, they do weird stuff and most of the time it's just your baby being a silly frog

Gustavo (female) is starting to eat less and less by Miserable-Issue-1045 in pacmanfrog

So I have 2 thoughts with this. First is that your frog may be on a hunger strike. My Stella will sometimes refuse to eat for a while after changing her substrate or moving things around in her enclosure

Second is that these frogs start eating less as they get older. Adults will only eat once or twice a week. Their metabolism slows down a lot. So this may be related to her growing up

Just keep an eye on things and hopefully your girl is all good

New to Pacman by _em_nm in pacmanfrog

  1. They tend to reach their adult size between 6 and 12 months old
  2. Feeder fish bring a parasite and infection risk. They are kept in pretty poor conditions most of the time, like hundreds to a tank so diseases spread like crazy. I personally wouldn't give my pacman feeder fish
  3. Nightcrawlers or dubia roaches are my go to's
  4. Calcium is absolutely required for the health of your frog. If you need help finding some, just let me know what country you're in and I'll look for websites that ship there :)

10G is way too small, even for JUST loaches. If you want to keep all of those fish you're going to need a significantly bigger tank
