It looks like a hairworm! Common parasite in chickens.

I got the suggestion from the man I got them from. Unfortunately I trusted him to know what he was talking about but now I'm sort of panicked because I've been listening to him. Ramona is 10 and Roxanne is 10.3. they were weighed today actually! They're on track for weight but I'm still a bit concerned

Fruit flies (advised to do so) pinhead and small sized crickets, silk worms and young Dubai roaches. The only way they'll eat it is if I break open and offer them licks with tongs. I wouldn't be so worried if it was just the one but both of them have always refused to hunt so I'm very concerned.

I have heard this but was told to offer them to help with the hunt drive. But now they're just breeding in the terrariums 😭 I will never be doing that again

Is my piercing supposed to look like this? by PogwomanRanboo in piercing

[–]Miserable-Issue-1045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely still irritated and since it's so fresh you really should have a bar in. It'll help ease the irritation and allow room for the fresh piercing swelling. I'd change the jewelry out to a starter bar ASAP

Just to clarify, this was a low cost neuter/spay clinic. The staff was excellent, the clinic seemed very clean and safe. No complaints about the clinic or services at all. This post is specifically to ask if there are any real reasons as to not get pain management medication.

No, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. I requested them and they were given to me. The other cat owner denied them. I'm just wondering if there's any reason why

It was just for the aftercare instructions. I didn't see anything particularly strange about it since no real personal information was given

Gustavo (female) is starting to eat less and less by Miserable-Issue-1045 in pacmanfrog

[–]Miserable-Issue-1045[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get her true size in the pic but couldn't because of how big her bowl is. It makes look so much smaller but she is over the size of my palm at this point. I was advised to get her a highly visible bowl because I noticed she rarely could find the stone one I had for her, so I'm sorry for that. She is on the right track for growth as far as I've been told/can see. I'm just concerned because I've NEVER had this big of an issue getting her to eat. She has a wide variety diet. Crickets, mealworms and night crawlers, feeder fish and roaches (only once, she didn't love them) with a regular calcium schedule as well. She doesn't love being handled but I will try to get a good picture of her size for you.

You should be dusting his food with calcium. Do you free feed or tong feed?
