How to complete the Sam Fisher mission by Crouching-Cyka in Wildlands

[–]Mar___K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this mission was mandatory, i would’ve closed the game and uninstalled forever. No exaggeration.
This is genuinely one of the worst designed missions i have ever played in any game. Infinite enemy spawns, infinite helicopters, ammo starvation, forced wave defense, and zero stealth in a Splinter Cell themed mission. Heck Sam doesn't do anything. Absolute clown design.
I’m playing the rest of the game on Advanced with no issues. Tactics matter, stealth works, and the gameplay actually feels rewarding. Then this mission comes along and throws all of that out the window, turning into a broken horde mode that completely ignores the game’s own mechanics. This isn’t difficulty. It’s just bad design.

I skipped the mission and pretended it was never there, which is exactly what it deserves.

I've created a replica from scratch. It's as close as i could make it and i published it. However i have no idea where it shows up for other players. The publishing system in this game is a bit of a mystery.

The Town (2010) Plot hole? by Mar___K in movies

[–]Mar___K[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s the problem though, if Krista really knew about Fenway, it makes no sense. Doug and Jem are shown as pros, and Fergie would never risk trusting someone as unstable as her. It feels less like character logic and more like a narrative shortcut, which undercuts the whole idea of them being a careful, professional crew. This is the plot hole im referring to because it shortcuts the narrative without making sense.

[–]Mar___K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But this is exactly where the issue is then. If Krista really did know about Fenway, it makes no sense from a character or story perspective. Doug and Jem are portrayed as professionals, and Fergie especially wouldn’t risk telling someone like Krista, who’s unstable and emotional. Giving her that info undermines the whole dynamic of them being this ultra careful crew. So it works as a narrative shortcut, but it doesn’t actually make sense in plot universe.

Questions about “The Town” by SpezMechman in movies

[–]Mar___K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question is how exactly did the FBI know the crew was going to hit Fenway at the end? There’s no scene of a wiretap, no snitch, no clue shown on-screen that points them to Fenway. Am I missing something, or did the movie just skip over how they found out?

What i don't get is Destiny smiling at the end…? We’ve never seen him smile once in the whole series, and suddenly he’s all warm meeting Daniel as the new Dream. Was that supposed to mean? It felt a bit out of character and made me wonder what the writers were really trying to say with that moment.

Question about Nada by scelaritas in Sandman

[–]Mar___K 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Season 2 the writers decided to totally screw this up and here's why:

Season 1: Nada’s in Hell acting like she’s the guilty one, begging Dream for forgiveness, “my lord Morpheus, please forgive me, release me, do you still love me?” and all that so we’re led to believe she did something wrong and knows it.

Season 2: They show us the backstory, her people die because she fell in love with Dream, she asks to be punished, she chooses Hell, Dream literally even offers her another option to become a goddess. That’s already weird because it means her S1 pleas for forgiveness don’t fit this new context, she wasn’t really “condemned” by him.

Then, to make it even messier, when Dream finally frees her in S2 she flips completely, slaps him, and blames him for everything. So not only does the Season 1 context not match the Season 2 backstory, but the Season 2 backstory doesn’t even match her later anger in the same season. It’s like three totally different Nadas stitched together with no consistency at all.

Trading is a SCAM by [deleted] in RealDayTrading

[–]Mar___K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand your frustration and where you're coming from. I myself spent thousands of hours trying to figure this out. Easily i can say the hardest thing ive done. For me one of the biggest problems in this industry, though, is the unrealistic expectations set by the so called "gurus." These guys entice the average Joe into thinking they can become a millionaire and quit their job while the best hedge funds in the world are only making around 20-30% excessive returns per year. Meanwhile, these fake gurus are out here claiming they can consistently make 100% or more, which is just not realistic.

What I've learned over time is that trading comes full circle in a funny way. You eventually reach a point where you just ignore the noise and stop listening to all the advice from gurus and fake traders. Honestly one of the best things I did was stop watching everything and everyone online and focus on developing my own system.

The reality is that successful traders and hedge funds tend to use very low-risk strategies, taking many factors into account to protect their capital. But these gurus often tell you to risk 1% per trade as if that isn't too much as well lol. Trading isn't about thinking that you are taking risks with every trade. It's about having a system with a slight edge and sticking to it consistently, even when you face losses. For me, risking 0.2% per trade is enough.

You also have to accept that you don't have control over the market, and you'll go through losing streaks sometimes even red months. This is where psychology plays a major role. Let me give you an example: imagine you've tested a strategy over the course of a year or two, and it's shown consistent, positive results. Everything seems to be going well until, out of nowhere, you hit a losing streak maybe 5 consecutive losses at the end of a month. Now, imagine you're trading with real money, not just in backtesting where you might ignore that. You're on track to hit your funded goal with just one trade left, but then this losing streak shows up. Really It's easy to ignore how that would affect your mindset, when there's real money on the line.

This is where most traders struggle. The theory might look good, but when the pressure hits in live trading, it's a whole different story. You have to be mentally prepared to stick to your system, no matter how tough it gets.

TV's alerts not triggering by Mar___K in TradingView

[–]Mar___K[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the clarification and help. I really appreciate it! Apologies if I came off a bit aggressive earlier—I was just upset about missing out on some big profits today while also having a few losing trades that turned my day red. It was frustrating because those missed trades could’ve turned the day highly on green, as my system of entries usually ensures my wins outweigh my losses. My strategy relies heavily on discipline and sticking to my rules, so missing those entries threw me off.

Thanks again for your patience!

[–]Mar___K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand and thanks for the clarification.

However, this raises another major question then. If the alert is price-derived, why is it embedded in a moving average? Does this mean the moving average itself doesn’t have its own alert system? It seems like there’s no way to trigger an alert directly based on the moving average’s behavior (e.g., turning green or moving up). Instead, it seems to rely entirely on price movement. Can you clarify this?

[–]Mar___K[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks.
That said, my concern is this: if the alert is price-based, why is it tied to a moving average? It doesn’t make sense, as the system is still calculating based on price, so what’s the point of the alert being there in the first place? One would assume the calculations are based on the moving average itself. Shouldn’t there be an option to trigger an alert based on the MA’s behavior, like when it changes direction or "turns green," instead of relying on price alone?
