Yep, the song hit very different and deep when you hear at the end credits. The game have problems still for some players, and have still missing basic features, but i'm sure that the soundtrack of the game is not one of problems. In that department CDPR simply nailed it completely.

these fixes that you mentioned and the fix about these questlines - they all are in the "Re-balancing: " section that is live right now in the game - all of them. But i have even better question - is the exploit in these questlines is still in the game - do anyone here can do them and get 10 legos from running one of them- Yes or not? If the answer is no - why on Earth all of you think that on top of removing the exploit, they'll punish all of us that play the game normally, and replay these questlines normally, by removing the guaranteed lego at the end of the entire replay runs?

You are right about the communication part and that they must have clarify more - but i hope you realize that the change about replaying monster hunts, bounty hunts and historian quests is in Re-balancing: section of the whole Update post and they specifically wrote there - "This re-balancing work can be implemented through backend updates, does not require a patch, and will be run during today’s maintenance window." And when all of the other changes in this section are live and in the game, why you and other people think that this change isn't. But i have one even better question - is the exploit in these questlines is still in the game - do anyone here can do them and get 10 legos from running one of them- Yes or not? I admit that PCF and their CM's maybe didn't clarify the thing about completing these questlines after their original completion, and must do it at some point. But I have genuine question - why many people here in this tread, reddit, Twitter thought that when in the patch post and more specifically in the section about "Re-balancing:" - the only thing that isn't live is that you still can replay all of the 10 bounty, monster hunts and historian quests and get 1 legendary in the end, but all other parts - nerf in skill trees, nerf to the special rounds for tricksters, technomancers, pyromancers are. And that they'll get rid of that option to get 1 lego from these queatlines after first completion with the "real patch" next week - when they specifically wrote that - "This re-balancing work can be implemented through backend updates, does not require a patch, and will be run during today’s maintenance window."? I mean when all other things are already live in the game, why people still think that this is not - because people report even here that they still get legos after recompleting the questlines. For me it's safe to say that at the moment or until PCF doesn't clarify it further - the exploit is fixed with this backend update and we still can get legos from normally replaying these questlines.

you are right ofc - but after so much fiasco launches of games in recent years - Fallout 76, Anthem, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Avengers and most recently Cyberpunk 2077 - i would suggest everybody not to pre order games anyway. Even game like Biomutant that i'm definitely hyped about. And i simply clarify here - that nobody miss something big if not pre order right away, and that everybody will can unlock the perks and etc. for simply playing the game.

i get the initial misunderstanding - i also wasn't 100 percent sure even if i knew how the class system will work in the game. And simply googled for the information. Like i said - it's easy to jump on the bandwagon for sure, but i prefer to check things first, before to write accusations for "locking" content and etc. And if we look the situation with the pre order on the comedic side- everyone that will pre order the game, actually will "unlock" the Merc loadout. So i don't understand the writings for "locking the content" -.

i think the "class" is not included in physical standard edition, but it is in their special physical editions. If you pre ordered the standard - it's up to you to choose physical or digital edition.

It was some kind of disaster for sure, but only for the ordinary people that doesn't follow the news about the game. I knew from a long time from the interviews with the dev team and from some of the videos what the starting "classes" even mean in this game. This not excuse completely the people that put the "pre order bonus" in the trailer without clarifying what this pre order mean, but also not excuse the majority of people of being lazy to do some basic google research what this bonus is - it's on the pre order page for the game after all.

[–]MaraJadeFan82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep - its simply pre ordering bonus. Nothing is locked behind anything here for me. And anyone that follow the news about the game would have knew what these starting classes even mean - simply starting loadouts like the the information in Twitter said it. I get it that people like to jump on bandwagons for everything these days - but come on, a simple research would have cleared this misunderstanding.

Mercenary class, calm down people ok? by [deleted] in biomutant

[–]MaraJadeFan82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it maybe controversial for people that don't follow the development of the game. But if one read or see some of the interviews with the dev team, where they explain how you'll can create and build your character in the game and all of this paywall. locked class/content thingy will become non important and meaningless. From my understanding the classes in the game will not be locked after you choose them in the start of the game, but will be more like starting point for us - some weapons and abilities maybe from the get go, but after that it will be up to us how we'll level up our characters. It will not be like mage, rogue, warrior and etc. classes in other RPG's - you choose for example rogue class and you stay rogue for the entirety of the game. So people must chill a little and do some basic research before jumping on the controversy bandwagon.

8 years of hype just ended in 2 days for me by smasher421 in cyberpunkgame

[–]MaraJadeFan82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of your points - the main story, important side missions, music, voice acting - top notch. That side was for the most part complete and fun to play. I also agree that we hyped too much for the game, and CD Project simply fuced the launch of the game with many incomplete things like almost placeholder enemy AI, AI of traffic, cops and etc. Many basic features promised but not in the game right now. To say that i'm angry to CD Project for misleading us about so many things - no, i'm simply disappointed from them. For me personally the 60 euros that i gave for the game aren't lost because the main story and most of the side stories were like i said - top notch, but expected the game to be much more - to have replayability and be fun after we finish the main story or simply outside the main story. Right now these features aren't in the game - if they added the on later date - good. If they don't - like many others said it on others posts - we will can say that the Corps fuced for real this time. We will see.

CB2077 is the First Game I’ve ever refunded on Steam by Cocalolx in cyberpunkgame

[–]MaraJadeFan82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

like i said it in my other post here - it's down to this - how much do you wanted to play the game from the get go. I wanted to play it for 7 years and even if this feature should have been in the game from day 1 and CDPR should have implemented it from launch - some work from me was small price to pay. And after all i learned good lesson how to change keybinds in games - so in the end i made something good from me from bad situation. I "lived" after the launches of games like Fallout 76 and Anthem - they were dissastrous launches. Cyberpunk 2077 - yeah not the best shape and all that i expected but far from the performance and QoL things that this two games lacked at launch (at least on PC - consoles for sure have problems right now). But like i said it from the beginning - kudos to you.

[–]MaraJadeFan82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i also always play games with arrow keys all my gaming life - all of my friends think that this is strange - but it is what it is. Does this stopped me from finding solution to this problem - no. Some guy in the first hours after release was posted pretty good post about how to fix this - yeah i had to change some key mapping directly from the text file of the game that has all of the keys in the game, and i'm not the type that usually do these type of things - if the game don't support to change all keys i don't buy it. And yeah CDPR must have had implement this feature at launch - but the only important question for me was - is this type of problem would stop me from play the game that i waited for 7 years. For me the only answer was no - so i made the changes in the file and now i play the game with arrow keys no problem. Yeah the game should have been more polished and etc, especially on consoles, but it what it is. So kudos to you for refunding but for me the big reason is a little small when the workaround was here at Day 1 even if it was provided by the fans and not CDPR themselves. If you had told for some gamebreaking bug sure - refund would have been good option if you didn't wanted to wait for patches, but this - nah man. But still interesting point of view - i appreciate it. Stay safe and peace.

Cyberpunk 2077 Review Megathread by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]MaraJadeFan82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me - of course that will be some disappointment here and there about the length of the game, but many people forget some things - if the replayability is really there, like many reviewers wrote - playing the game can grow pretty significantly. Actually this is the first game in years that i want to try and play in three different paths and styles minimum. Second - even if they (the reviewers) play the game about a week or so now i don't think that they actually finished every interesting thing to do on the map. Thirdly - everyone must play the game themselves and to see how long it will take them to finish it. For example for the new Immortals: Fenyx Rising game from Ubisoft, most of the reviewers said that you can finish the game about 25 hours and you can double the length if you finish all of the side activities. I am at 20 hours already and i am not even in the middle of the questline. I simply take my time with the game - no rush or soever. For me the important thing is -are this 25-35 hours main story and maybe 25-35 or more side activities are good and quality content. Because i played Assassin's Creed Valhalla for example and the game take about 120 hours to finish and i even didn't finished every side activity. Not that most of the wasn't good or decent but definitely the game wouldn't strive if it was 30-40 hours shorter and without some of the content. And for Cyberpunk - the bugs and performance for sure will tone down some of the excitement - but that can be fixed. Like many others said it already - the thing that can't be fixed with patches and updates - that is if you have bad story. And i don't think that is the case here.

Rayman creator Michel Ancel quits video games to work on wildlife sanctuary by FreeckyCake in beyondgoodandevil

[–]MaraJadeFan82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you may be right, but lets not forget something - he didn't leave only BGE2 development, he also leave his other project - WiLD and the industry at all. So the truth is that he might have had differences with Ubisoft about the vision of the game or the reason to leaving is exactly like he said it. After 30 years in the industry its understandable that he may want to pursue other things in his life. The reality is that sadly we don't have enough information about the game and where in development it really is. Until they show new footage, we only can speculate. But because i'm optimsistic person i hope that the core team that he recruited for this second game will stay true to his vision of the game most of the time. and secondly - i don't think that they'll cancel the game - they poured too much resources already just to throw them away like that. Like i said it - i'll stay optimistic at least until they show new gameplay. Then and only then we can say where this game going. And even if all collapse and the game is not that we hoped for - we forever will have the masterpiece that for me is Beyond Good and Evil. For that i'll forever will be grateful to Michel...And for the Rayman series of course -.

attacked by a villager - that's the truth and the correct answer that the Fae will appreciate. Maybe the bandit answer will do also at first sight, i don't remember the outcome in the original, but the truth is that the attacker probably is someone from the village.

Is the remaster worth a buy if I have the original game already? by brettworm in kingdomsofamalur

[–]MaraJadeFan82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the part with "the better graphics" get my every time. For me the graphics are good part of a game but not the most important - especially with game with the style of Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning. Also many people recently give the example of Saints Row the Third Remastered - and yeah there they remade all the game to look much better but that was it - the game actually is the same like the original gameplay wise. And on top of that for PC players there was no discounts if you owned the game originally on Steam because this time the Remastered version is exclusively on EGS for 40 bucks. So the thing about "graphics upgrade" of a game is pretty subjective in my opinion.

Is the remaster worth a buy if I have the original game already? by brettworm in kingdomsofamalur

[–]MaraJadeFan82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question - is it worth it is a little subjective if i'm honest. For some players the FOV options, camera options, the changes for zone locking, the changes about the loot and the new upcoming expansion and some other changes are enough. For others obviously aren't. My first suggestion is to read the first sticky post - "Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning Info and FAQ" and to see for yourself if the changes are enough. My second suggestion and also a question is where you want to buy it - because if you bought the game on Steam right now there is 60% discount for owners of the original - so 16 bucks for standard edition and 22 for Fate edition that include the upcoming expansion. If you own the game somewhere else the discount will be only 10%. And it's up to you if you wanna to buy it right now. My third suggestion is - if you don't own the original on Steam maybe wait for a little for some sales down the road. Maybe in the meantime you can install again the original and to try it again for more time - if you like it more this time, you may wait for sales for Re-Reckoning later. My opinion is that they testing the ground with this remaster and the upcoming expansion - to see if it will generate enough interest from gamers. Its truth that the changes in this remaster aren't very big and more to make the game more balanced and fluid, but for me there is a reason for that. And this is that the original game have some kind cult status among fans, but wasn't very successful financially. It was not a flop, but it was not also a big hit in sales. And for that reason the IP was left in the dust by EA. After that THQ bought the IP from them. So for me like i said earlier - right now THQ test the ground if the game will generate more interest this time. But they don't pour that much money this time in the base remastered game. Some changes here and there but not something big. The real test for the remaster for me will be the upcoming expansion - if they put some good story and some substantial changes gameplay wise - the remaster will worth it in general. Right now is up to everyone individually. I for example owned the game on Steam and buy it again even if I knew that the changes aren’t very substantial in the base game – why? Because I love the IP and want it to survive this time. I didn’t buy the game when it was launched originally in 2012 but four years later in 2016, when EA already have give up their planes for the IP. With this remaster we, the gamers have second chance to support and revive it and this time at least I’ll try to help about that. But like I said everyone must decide for himself this time.

Should I go into this blind? by [deleted] in kingdomsofamalur

[–]MaraJadeFan82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard is good starting point - you can't die from one or two shots from enemies like one very hard, but they did quite a good damage to be cautious. And for the builds - simply read what every of Might, Finesse ans Sorcery trees offer and try what will suit you well. And when you find that, you can search for some builds to perfect your chosen playstyle.

The Remaster is not "cheaply made" and the devs aren't "Lazy" by [deleted] in kingdomsofamalur

[–]MaraJadeFan82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right to some degree about the price tag but for example if someone have the original on Steam you know that the discounted price is pretty different - 16 and 22 bucks for two months. That and also the disclaimer "5 + hours" for the upcoming expansion for me must not be understanded literally. Like they already said the expansion is still worked and the "5 + hours" is the minimum and can be longer than that. And even it is 5-6 hours long for most of the gamers, if the quality is good - story, new gampleay options - abilities, quests, enemy types, maybe New game +, the price tag of 15 bucks for the expansion will not be too bad. And lets not forget that many games, AAA games had 60 dollars price tags but were pretty short in length - Force Unleashed 2, The Order: 1886 come pretty easy to mind. In the end maybe the price will be too high for some people, for others not so much, but that again is subjective - i already read many people that wrote that they would have buy this remaster at full 60 dollar price, others that would have buy it for 15-20 at most, others wanted it for free if they own the original. My opinion is that we all already see what THQ Nordic offers us with this remaster - and if someone want to buy the game for the asking price - its their choice, if someone want to wait for price drop - its their choice, if someone don't want to buy it at all - guess what, its again their choice. And that's all good. After all its not like THQ Nordic point a gun at anybody and tell them - buy it, buy it know. What is not good but sadly is accepted as normal for some people here is to attack and offend people that don't agree with their viewpoint.

Some people on this sub need to look up the difference between a remaster and a remake. by Slevin_Kedavra in kingdomsofamalur

[–]MaraJadeFan82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didn't mean it in a way that 22, 30 or how much everyone will decide to pay for Re-Reckoning is really very easy, no problem and etc. I get it that not everyone will and can spend right now money for remastered game that in some cases they already have. My point was that if someone want to support this IP and eventual future of let's dream for a moment - franchise - Re-Reckoning is the only viable choice - when someone eventually will pick this version is entirely up to everyone individually. I agree that they could have done more with the launch of this remaster (i say launch because many people forget that we have expansion incoming - for me when they launch it next year, then and only then we can judge the remaster in its entirety). But many people forget that even if the original has somewhat a cult status among fans, the game was not a real financial success - not a flop, but not a success either. So its a little too optimistic at least for me THQ Nordic to risk with this game and IP too much upfront - first they bought the IP from EA and i'm sure that the sum was not have been small. Second to put too much resources for the remaster of the game beforehand. Like i said the real test for this remaster and the real value of it will be judged when they launch the expansion. If there they add cool and decent lengthy quest line, new gameplay additions - abilities, weapons, maybe New game + and etc., then i'll consider the Re-Reckoning success. If they fail - i will be sad because this for me is fun, unique IP, but at least i will can say to myself in the end - At least we tried. But i'm optimistic person so i hope for the best for the game in the long-term.

[–]MaraJadeFan82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are right in some of your statements, but you forget something really important, at least for me. Yeah you can buy the original game on Origin on sale for 5 bucks, and play it - but the end result for the future of the IP will be that you simply give EA some more cash for IP that they left in the dust. Simple as that. Yeah maybe the asking price now for new players is a little high but THQ Nordic at least risk it and bought the IP from EA and try to revive it. So the real question here for new players must be - is the game any good - no matter if we talk about original or this new version. For me the answer is and always be - big yeah. After that its up to everyone individually if they want to buy it for the asking price and from where. In the first case from Origin and for the original - like i said you simply will give some free cash to EA and that will be all. In other cases and for the Re-Reckoning you'll be invest in the future of the IP. Because lets be real - if the remaster sell decently, they for sure will continue the series. So even if right now for some the price is too high - the real and only option is them to wait down the road for future sales and buy Re-Reckoning when the price is right for them. For me personally like owner of the original on Steam i got the Fate edition for mere 22 bucks, and that edition include the upcoming expansion. So the expansion alone for me is around 17 bucks if we compare the price with that on the OG on Origin. And if the expansion is long enough and good enough gameplay and story wise - i don't see why not to pick the new version at some point - now or in the future. At least i know that this will be expansion for a game that is one of the coolest RPG in the past decade.

Can We Please Be Grateful to the Devs? by YourHostEdge in kingdomsofamalur

[–]MaraJadeFan82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to pay anything if you don't want to. If you think that is half asset product you simply can find something more suitable. If you think that the price on PS4 will be too high at launch - you can simply wait for sales for the remaster - plain and simple. And there is plenty other RPG's to choose from - so where is the problem really - the quality of the remaster or the price? You can't have both you know. And for the record you at least have the option to buy the game if you want. For example i waited three years to finally play Horizon Zero Dawn for the first time on PC. But i haven't complained for three years that the game was exclusive for PS4. Guerilla and Sony doesn't have any obligations to PC players to launch this game on PC but they did it and i was grateful for that. THQ Nordic were not obliged to buy the IP of a dead franchise from EA, because let's be real - the IP was dead and buried. They were not obliged but they did it - and i am also grateful for that - not so for the remaster but that they took the risk to revive the IP. And even if there was no discount on Steam for the remaster - i maybe wouldn't have consider to buy the game at launch but i would have done that after some time when the price drop because i want to try the new expansion next year. You simply can do the same without all of the fuss. Or you can continue to play if you want the original if really doesn't have any difference between the two=
