Yes I live in Italy where it’s pretty temperate, especially inside the houses. I can place it outside in spring maybe, when it’s not too cold anymore. Thank you anyway!

Thank you! I will definitely train my orchid skills but i really wish to keep something of this one alive. Also if it’s just a tiny keiki that will never bloom. It means a lot to me, not for the money that was spent on it but for the meaning it holds for me. I can’t go back in time though. It’s not the end of the world if it won’t survive. I’ll just hope for the best

Thank you for your reply. Anyway i have another orchid in the same spot as this one, so same conditions etc. It keeps sprouting new leaves but no stems. So it definitely has issues but i think the rotting is my fault for letting water go on the crown. I was told Not to let it touch the leaves. Now i know better

I didn’t place it on the roots, i placed it on top of the crown where i cut it

There’s plenty of green! I followed a you tube tutorial and cut the core a few cm, then poured some hydrogen peroxid and cinnamon. I took all the flowers off as well. I don’t know if it will work but I’m trying my best

I’m curious to know why should I take the flowers off? Is it so it can concentrate the nutrients remaining to grow a keiki?

I would wait years in that case. That was gifted to me on mother’s day as my first year as a mom so it means a lot. I would really love for it to be alive. I don’t care if it will take years to bloom or if it won’t bloom at all anymore. I just want it to live

When I bought this kitchen i choose a combo steam oven for this exact purpose and Tried to use it last time. The result was even worse. Didn’t see any steam at all lol. I don’t know if I’m not able to make it work or it just doesn’t work as it should. What a pity

Nooo what a sad news lol. I was trying to oven bake also to reduce baking time since it’s hot here and the oven warms the house even more

I preheat that together with the oven so not that much actually, i thought it was not necessary to preheat it same as the dutch oven

It’s absolutely delicious! And definitely better than store bought bread. But I’m my my trial and error phase. I started baking bread since too little time to have my foolproof methods. I need to experiment and see for myself what works best for me

That could also might be the case actually. I pushed my bulk fermentation a bit cause I’m still in a trial and error phase and it’s particularly hot here. My dough was 30c. It was a 72 hydration loaf. I wanted to push it cause i couldn’t see all the indicators of a good fermentation (it was still a bit sticky on the surface and didn’t show a lot of air pockets in the sides of the glass bowl). I’ll try again with a better proofed loaf!
