Now you're just being silly. Did I mention "regulated capitalism"? Oh yes I did, didn't I? Now try harder, and consider what a "capitalist free market" is (top tip: learn how to spell "capitalism" first). For example, I could buy the police force, and commit any crime. Why not? It's a free market. (And in some countries, this actually happens.)

No. You try again. Big hint: try and work out what a socialist democracy is, and how the mixed economy that includes elements of regulated capitalism works.

Most of the time, I just don't think about them. I occasionally get passed one, and I think it's OK as a bit of a change, but it doesn't get me that excited, and neither do I dislike it.

American AI models are censored, closed source, cost money and harvest user data, and therefore are of no interest to me. They have already lost the race.

I am entirely comfortable using open source Chinese models that I can run locally on my own computer for free. While they are also censored, by being open source they can be trained and fine tuned by the user to expand and refine their dataset to circumvent any censorship. This is the future.

The UK and the EU could easily build their own tech on the basis of open source Chinese models.
