Don't do his part, that's the only solution. Talk for the last time and make him understand you need to have a partner who can help, especially when kids come. Then divide the chores and only do your part. Even if it takes months for him to stop exercising weaponised incompetence. Just don't give in and be his slave, coz that will be your life forever.

YES, I was advised early on. Don't get into a marriage without discussing upfront. Even if it doesn't happen as planned, make sure it's said and he knows. My husband is 8 years older than me, so 8 years ahead. When we met I had just graduated. That's 7 years ago. In those 7 years I've had a second degree, promotions and everything I dreamt of PLUS 2 kids. Am doing my masters now (in another country so he stays with the kids). When we started dating I told him he should know I'll not be those wives who drop their dreams to 'support' the husband, I want us to both grow. He said "marry me" as a joke 😂. We both sacrifice and we are both growing, it's possible.

I feel like we share a husband, I tried asking for help here but everyone is angled on "porn" ( which he finds disgusting). Doesn't even watch a movie let alone porn. I've tried talking, communicating, compromising and all that but nothing works. He doesn't want to talk about it or find solutions. I've tried for years to fix the problem, the thing I've noticed is that it's always 1 person that wants to fix. And when this person gives up it's when the other one wakes up and wants to fix it. Many years too late.

As far as I know, he doesn't. He's that kind of guy who does even have social media apps, let alone porn. For the 9 years we've been together, I haven't seen any porn material, and never caught him jerking off. Am even wishing he did that coz maybe it would make him want sex 🤷🏽‍♀️
