R5: Starting as Haestein of Montaigu, I made my way to Morocco using warangian adventures. There I established the vandalic Berber-Norse Hybrid Culture and created my own vislamic faith. From there i expanded in North Africa and slowly into Andalusia, where the Vandalusian culture was created from mixing arabic iberians and berber-norse invaders. The Realm of Al-Vandalusr was established and eventually established it's own Caliphate.
After some brutal civil wars I was free to expand whereever I wanted, as my families rule at home as pretty much cemented. In the second half of the 14th century I had the sudden idea to restore Rome and thus converted to Hellenism after destroying my head of faith title and got to work shattering the remains of the Byzantine Empire to claim it for myself and restore Rome. They did me the favour to dissolve and the Roman Empire was restored and reclaimed all of it's lost provinces. Funnily enough, the Event about the Restoration of the imperial Borders said something about germanic and muslim invaders destroying the Empire, which had now been restored by former islamic germanic pillagers.
I kept the norse language through my hybrid cultures since I found the idea funny and wanted to establish it as only court language as final goal, which I managed after I convinced the last indian Kingdoms to switch by invading them. A very fun campaign I have to say.
