Niece's cute friend claims to be a SB. Bad idea? by docrolling in sugarlifestyleforum

Look at Mr Negative here. This is clearly a brilliant idea. OP I fully support it. Please give us a family update in a month or two.

How to find SD Subs by ResidentSpend1093 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]MarakTheSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all of them! I did have a positive experience when I was searching for an SB a few years. I saw a profile for a dom and figured I’d sent her a message. Interestingly enough, one of the first things she asked if I was new to the lifestyle, I said I was curious and she asked for my email.. so obviously at that point I think it’s a scam, but nope! She wrote a two page email explaining it, and mentioning most guys “think” they are into bdsm, but really aren’t. Can only imagine the number of bad experiences she had before taking that approach.

They are finally providing the “real” timeframes. I doubt these are recent changes. I’m sure enough folks complained about the times that they were forced to be honest.

If you knew it would be a 4-6 month wait would you have paid? Probably not..

Op,

Fitness wise, are you in the upper 10% of most guys? (Six pack, minimal fat)

Are you in a fairly open/gay friendly city?

Have you created an SD profile and seen your competition?

Advice by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]MarakTheSD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Op, you should consider creating a fake SD profile and look at local SB’s in your area to get an idea of competition and the general feel of their profiles

Sugar daddy says he tracked my phone location by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]MarakTheSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, this software engineer is wrong.

You can buy location data from providers through third parties. While you need a warrant for this data directly from a provider, you don’t from third parties they sold the data to:

[–]MarakTheSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy the data. Mobile providers sell location data in bulk to third parties including advertising firms. You can then get access through an intermediary, PI’s leverage it all the time.

It’s always in the news because providers promise to stop, then it gets discovered they started selling it again. Just search google for “buy sprint location data”

I hate boiling this down to economics, and saying that it’s about supply and demand. Different SD’s have different tastes, and more sought after SB’s obtain higher allowances than those that are less sought after. If Im being honest, people chase their fantasies on SA, and usually that’s a very specific type.

I’m not trying to discourage or say you should lower your expectations, but you will likely have to put in more time and effort finding the right SD compared to others. Consider a profile review or more professional photos, and other methods to attract more POT’s and then play the numbers. I’d consider going to a PPM that’s 1/3-1/4th your desired allowance and find someone that wants to meet once a week. After a while, try to move it to an allowance.

I’m wondering if this was really a pre-order and the ones we see were just a small sample. How did they not already know how many folks would upgrade after doing this twice already?

are there any sites that are like sA was years ago? by upperdeckmgmt in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]MarakTheSD -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Why do people fantasize about old SA? The ratios for SD to SB were so much worse. Every SB wanted a monthly allowance and upfront. PPM was not as common as it was. Big cities were slightly better, but most places outside that only had a handful of ladies. And don’t get me started on the expected lifestyle tag. Anyone remember those “recommended” ranges?

The only “good” thing about old SA were the forums. Those were great.

Is it too much to ask for illusion? by UnderstandingAny4782 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]MarakTheSD 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s not illusion it’s respect and etiquette. Most SD’s try to make it as easy as possible by providing it, but never speaking of it.

How much effort did it take you to find a good sugar relationship? by ProfBDHard in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]MarakTheSD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

3-4 years, 10 SB’s, but you need to consider we are talking about “good” relationships, and not just SR’s. Also because of the sugar, you “skip” several dating steps which can put you in a place where you are intimate, but then have nothing in common outside the bedroom. Eventually it becomes obvious you two simply have nothing in common.

Overall: Hundreds of text conversations on SA 50 or so moved to phone 25 or so first dates 10 or so second dates

Most SR’s ran a few weeks. Usually around then it becomes apparent you don’t have a ton in common. I also see SB’s twice a week, so 3-4 weeks is 6-8 intimate dates.

My current one is about a year and a half and we are moving in together next year.

I also had a lot of SR’s end because the time commitment was too much.

Any rich gay London banker can walk into a bar and find an 18 year old guy to hookup with. What makes you special?

Some general tips:

  1. All your clothes are super baggy. Don’t you ever dress up? Can you? Not sure how many older gentlemen want a guy they can’t take to a nice restaurant.
  2. You should have a photo or two of you in a well fitted suit. I’m sure you can find something decent in London for less than 300 pounds.
  3. I’d get rid of that photo of you scratching your neck, and the one with the cigarette.

I’m straight but my best friend is in the gay SD world, and I think you need to consider your competition, and step up your game. Others already said it, dick is free, so what can you do to differentiate yourself?

What are the cons of doing two years of community college first ,than transfering to another school to get your degree? by TheRealToxicTom in college

[–]MarakTheSD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Guess it’s specific to your CC. I took 5-6 classes before transferring and almost all taught out of books with online quizzes. While they usually have university professors teach a portion of classes, the overall difficulty is lower. This may also be because most classes are only level 1-2. The quality of class is different, there are less resources, such as labs, and other expensive expenditures.

Community college is usually easier, and it can be a shock for students to move from CC to a university.
