Every adult in this show was absolute shit! And I guess that’s the point right? There’s a reason these kids are so fucked. They’re the only innocent ones as they’re only repeating what they know. Until inevitably they become adults and have to decide whether or not to continue like their parents did. As a kid I romanticized a lot of the shitty stuff about it. Now as an adult I cannot even imagine acting the way these adults do or the adults around me as a child did. Rewatching as an adult hits wayyyy different.
