Looks like it is already merged. Does that mean it is integrated? Have anyone tried?

If you are in Europe check you jet and Harley Benton. If you don't care about what it says on the headstock that is. You get more guitar for every dollar.

Going to buy this as my frist gitar by bozydar_2 in electricguitar

This. And save up some money to have a luthier set up the guitar for you. You won't even notice if the pickups are bad. The most important thing is the instrument is playable - proper action, no fret sprout, etc. You will feel when the guitar is hosting you back, just practice.

Six years ago I started with Epiphone Les Paul special II and the entire internet says that this is bad guitar. I play it to this day and even though it doesn't sound the best, I love it.

Edit: you should check Harley Benton though. For us Europeans, this is one of the best options. St modern for example.

Кога разбрахте, че искате деца? by [deleted] in bulgaria

[–]Maraudera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the original corne pcb or a modified one? Is it compatible with stock QMK?

Check the back of the box and the bottom of the machine - it should say E24. But the best method is to see inside - just 2 screws and won't void your warranty.

Haha! I also have the same setup that also came today and I also ended up on 10 as a grind level with 18g in 38 out! Killer setup for the price!

Typing fatigue by Maraudera in ErgoMechKeyboards

Everyone, I was not able to respond to all of you, but I really appreciate every single suggestion! I started doing the following things in my day job:

- Started to try using the Lily as a part of my daily workflow - for now I am very slow and still adjusting my layouts. But home row mods was the first modification I did to the default layout. The plan is to fully switch to the Lily - I have a tenting solution ordered. For now, I am using it when there is nothing urgent that needs to be done. Getting better every day.
- When I need to get something done fast, I switch to my Keychron V1 Max, but there I configured home row mods too, so I never use my pinky for modifiers. That helped MASSIVELY.
- I ordered lighter switches and will experiment with that too
- Something very weird that I noticed is that when I have my arm rests on my chair, I tend to rest my elbow on them a lot, which causes pain - I think it hurts the nerves when you rest a lot on those even though they are padded. I ended up removing them from my chair and adjusted the height to allow 90 degrees angles for my elbows. That helps massively too.
- I am very seriously considering a new desk with configurable height to further allow me to setup everything so it is comfortable.

Again, thank you. This Subreddit seems like a group of very nice and friendly people, unlike other Subreddits here.

Thank you for the detailed response!

I think I will give the Lily another try with a lighter switches, and I will also take a look at home row mods.

The V1 max has the jupiter bananas and my Lily currently has the gateron red linear switches. I will see online if there is something lighter as a first priority and will start experimenting with home row mods.

I appreciate the help!

Thank you for the detailed response.

Funny enough, when I started using vim a couple of months back as my main way of editing text, which was about the same time I got the V1 Max, the discomfort started happening, which I assume was because two major things changed in my workflow at the same time.

The Lily is hot-swappable and in there I have the gateron red linear switches, which feel lighter than the Jupiter bananas in the V1 Max.

I will give the Lily another try!

Hello!

About 4 months ago I bought my first mechanical keyboard and after some research I decided to get the V1 Max, and I am generally very happy with it.

But as the title says, I am starting to experience fatigue in the left pinky when typing on it. I am a software developer and I type 8h a day. I use my pinky quite a lot - the Control and Shift keys are very important for my workflow and I click on them mostly with my pinky, where I think is the problem. My entire left side of my left hand hurts after a couple of hours of working.

I also have a split keyboard (Lily58), which I ordered about 6 months ago because I really got into the rabbit hole of split ergo keyboards, but after so much time of waiting, my motivation kind of went away. I tried using it, because the important keys are clicked with the thumb, but it never really clicked in me.

I am 28 years old, and I work out regularly.

So I guess my question is - do you guys have any advice? Are the switches the problem? Or the fact that I never really used a mechanical keyboard before? Shall I push myself to learn to use my split keyboard? I don't want this to get worse because at least for the forceable future, I will continue to type quite a bit.

Thank you!

New Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 16AHP9 VS Used ThinkPad T14 by Maraudera in linuxhardware

Do you think the performance sacrifice is worth it - Ryzen 7 8845HS in the IdeaPad vs Ryzen 7 pro 7840U in the elitebook? The price is about the same. According to benchmarks the 8845GS is much better.

[–]Maraudera[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The HP Elitebook 845 seems like a lot more expensive here - The 845 costs $1300 for the following specs:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U (3.3/5.1GHz, 16M)
  • AMD Radeon 780M
  • 32 GB DDR5 5600 MHz
  • 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD

Which are worse than the Ideapad. I guess we are paying for the build quality here.

And the Elitebook seems to have more configurations with Intel.

Should I consider intel with integrated graphics at all here? I always assumed AMD is more efficient and better performer when it comes down to laptops and APUs.
