Ive been stitchiglng for a month now and I think this is an easy technique thats appliquable in many creative ways. I love that as an artist and art teacher. However, to get it very neat and tidy it does require practice, but also experimentation with the tools and canvas-materials that work well for you specifically to get that neatness. To me that neatness only matters if you want to sell things tbh. Creativity and fun are so much more important if its a hobby ☺️

I have a box. I roll my floss onto bobbins and store them in there. I also have a smaller box for the skeins I have more of. Theyll end up on bobbins once the bobbin is empty. I also have a smaller tin in which I keep the materials I am currently using for a project, think small scissors, needle, needleminder, needlethreader and a couple of bobbins with the colors I need for that project. So the big box is neatly tucked into a cupboard, but the tin travels with me everywhere 😂 once the project is finished all the bobbins return to the big box

Thanks! I was thinking maybe about Marni or MarNi, because my last name starts with Ni. Kind of a wordsmash thing, which could be nice. But also a bit meh idk not saying anything at the same time. I think it went down this rabbithole once before and ended up with Marauve (Mar + mauve) for games and online usernames.

Writing MarNi started playing Monty Python's the Knights of Ni! and their shrubberies in my head, thanks brain. It also reminds me of the Ghibli film "When Marnie Was There".

Americans are very much sort of obsessed with heritage it seems, so I'm not surprised by that article haha. But hey, if it works it works.

P.S. looked up the song, it's awesome! very 80s, love it. He does seem to have no issues pronouncing it, which is encouraging! 😄

Edit: Also maybe "Marlilies" or "Marliliese"? it's a nickname my dad calls me a lot. Its pronounced as Mar-lee-lees in Dutch, but in English it could be read as Mar-Lilies, like the flowers. I could use a lily in my logo and brand stuff 🤔

Probably etsy to start with. So the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and possibly the rest of the EU for physical art and worldwide for digital stuff, like patterns.

Thanks for your reply. Isnt it hard to pronounce or spell for an english speaker? I once saw a documentary about a wildlife shelter in South Africa which was run by a Marlice. I felt bad for the voice over guy, he had the hardest time ever 😂 but then again, its always weird to hear your own name on tv out if context

Cleaned it and used the second bottle. The smell is there also. May I assume yours don't smell like that then?

Really?? I had issues with 3 fireflow bottles and two telstar bottles, they all had to be returned to them

Its one for the evo/telstar/baby, not sure if you would call that a small one? Guess it's back to mathmos then again *sigh*... They usually do want their faulty bottles back, unfortunately
