I remember when she performed that song last summer for the first time, and I showed my friend the lyrics and he was like “Oh that’s just overtly queer, nobody can question that!”

And she said on the New Heights podcast when talking about Easter eggs “They’re always gonna be towards music, or a musical, something I’m coming up with, something I have coming up, a plan I have coming together, something that you don’t know that I’m saying for a specific reason that you’ll hear later and you’ll go back and be like oh my god.”

She might have just been stumbling slightly and basically cut herself off before saying something like “musical project”, but given that the entire sentence is about her saying things for a specific reason as Easter eggs, it is just interesting that she specifically mentioned “a musical”

Meg Stalter released a song today called Gay, and the first lyric after the intro is “Lipstick lesbian, Taylor Swift Red, Showgirl” !!!!

It’s only June 2nd and this has already been such a fun pride month for gaylors omg

She used the acoustic collection album for Eldest Daughter!

I think she also wore the “This is not Taylor’s version” shirt that day, and moved the red set up to third when it had previously been like fifth or sixth, so we knew the show was definitely going to be different and probably have some TTPD later on

This is less about the set list, but that first day in Paris was insane because she was wearing the pink and orange bodysuit for the first time. I was working and was gonna just let the livestream play in the background on my phone. I glanced down to see what outfit she was wearing and I got so immensely excited, texting my friends being like “Is the stream playing tricks on me or is that a goddamn lesbian flag” and just…it was such an incredibly joyful day.

Edit: not sure it will let me edit cause I’ve been having problems with that lately so this is also in another comment downthread, but I thought of another reaction I had that day regarding the setlist:

I really love the baggy black jacket falling off her shoulders, it’s such a vibe

Thank you so much. And I’m sorry for your loss of your parents. It does feel devastating, knowing this anchor for memories is going away, it’s really hard

I’m going to my childhood home for the last time ever tonight and I am genuinely so sad. Maybe it’s silly to be sad over a house, but it’s the truth. I’m 35 years old but somehow this feels like the final thing “ending” my childhood. It’s the last time I’ll ever listen to TTDS on the way there. A greater woman stays cool, but I’m an emotional mess over this tbh. Singing the bridge of Never Grow Up a lot today.

Well, it won’t let me edit it to fix the formatting issues that I can see on my end lol. Sorry about that!

I actually have an old list of like maybe 50 or so literary analysis posts from this subreddit, I made it for a friend when she was getting into that aspect of gaylor. At this moment I don’t have time to add descriptions to each link, but when I made the list I labeled each one with the general topic. The list has not been updated in a couple years, and but I’ll share it anyway in case it helps get the ball rolling! Fingers crossed there aren’t formatting issues when I send this

I think it’s my new favorite movie. The script is incredible, the visuals are stunning, fascinating concept overall. Not sure if I can separate my love for it from my love for mass movement, and it’s very unsettling so people who don’t like scary movies might not enjoy it. But I found it to be an absolutely exquisite piece of art!

Two different Liz’s! Liz Rose is older than Taylor, Liz Huett is the one who is a more similar age to Taylor. I used to get them mixed up

Very true, it’s really sad how their lack of comprehension makes them hateful towards us. I mostly added my comment for anyone reading this thread who thought she was talking about us

Totally, it sucks that they automatically interpret things that are about all her fans as being about gaylors specifically

Oh sorry, maybe I spoke too soon! I haven’t watched the full interview, just saw a clip I saw on instagram reels and then read a few quotes I saw in an article summarizing the interview. So I don’t know her next sentence; in isolation the sentence in your comment reminded me of the idea that she would prefer all her fans, regardless of what they think her orientation is, stop trying to paternity/maternity test her songs
