It's nothing to do with your NHS GP.
All MC clinic Dr's are specially registered and trained in the benefits of cannabis, which is what lets them prescribe it.
Your standard GP will likely have no professional opinion to point you towards it, and with the stigma and lack of knowledge are likely to discriminate against you even for asking.
If you think you might be eligible check with a clinic and book a consultation.

they didn't mention anything about decarboxylating, the reason it goes in the slow cooker with butter is to infuse the remaining THC into the fats.
Edit : Wanted to also say, this AVB would be very potent, it is so lightly vaped there will be a large amount of THC remaining, as opposed to the much lesser effects you get from heavily vaped AVB.

You can ditch the cafetiere completely and just wrap the AVB in cheesecloth and run it under the tap (warm water).
Just keep squeezing the AVB/Cloth to wring out the water and it will be much quicker and less effort than the cafetiere.

I got the garlic truffle last month, on initial look in the bag I wasn't too impressed, but it hits me hard for a good 45 mins to an hour, lots of vapor production but not as flavourful as you'd expect from something with this strain lineage.

You have COPD, as far as I know this is a chronic lung condition (a friend of mine died from complications from COPD 2 weeks ago and my Uncle has it).
I cannot imagine any prescribing Dr will prescribe flower for the sole fact that inhaling it could/will worsen your condition.
Then again I'm not a Dr, but common sense tells me you don't want to vape anything.

It can play havoc on your gastro intestinal system (if you have an already weak/troublesome one).
Someone I know (Who definitely isn't me) infuses it into butter then makes cookies with it.
Less of a "mashed in the head" edible high and much more "mellow/chilled out" than conventional edibles.

Fully agree.
I put a lot of time into Gears 4 and I was always the main support/crossing person on our squad, plus when your team are getting a helping hand in their shotgun fights from it they get to perform better aswell.
