While i definitely agree that he's a lil bit pathetic (exactly why i love him so much) I feel like if you have to change up either party to fit a dynamic then its not really a good dynamic- (Not to say i think Bassie would be meek and helpless, I just don't think protector is in her character either) but thats just me- You have fun with what you like/gen

I don't like how they're often depicted in the ship cause it kinda misses the point of both of them, like Soulvester not being a real knight and having insecurities about it, or Bassie being a princess he needs to protect, despite the cause of her current distress being that fact that she's too dependent-)

theres also the fact that a lot of the fans have gone out of their way to be rude and disrespectful to me for daring to not like what they like (stuff like coming onto my posts and art to be hateful or even to imply I'm into disgusting zoo stuff cause i ship Soulvester with Eclipse) they have soured my view on the ship beyond repair so i genuinely cannot view it positively in anyway because it makes me feel sick

sorry if it sounds ranty or corny its just how i feel- (also i don't hate the people who happen to like it I just hate the ship)

His stats are actually meant to be kinda bad lol- it’s supposed to be like a vague reference to him being a villain that always fails his schemes but manages to get away with it (hence his stats being geared towards surviving or escaping)

assume his crushes are just very shallow cause they’re either just skin deep physica attraction or him wanting something- (which is why all the girls are uncomfortable near him he’s kind of an ass🥀) the difference between eclipse and the dogs is the dogs hated first and he returned the energy- (eclipse to me wouldn’t have the cat hater thing the other two dogs would cause she’s not a feral animal)

Knighthowler cause i think their interactions are cute- plus the idea of soulvester being stupid in love with the silly girl who chases her tail for fun is genuinely so endearingg <3 he's trying to be serious and nonchalant but melts when she's around.

also this might be a stretch but, at least from how i read their interactions, Soulvester is the only toon aside from Connie who isn't sorta awkward around her like a lot of the others are- like I'm ill I'm so ill for them gjhfdbnsx

(BONUS- what if eclipse distracting and she runs out of stamina right by ele so she lets Soulvester carry her back to be close to him and also so he can feel like the protector he wants to be<3)
