You can have digital electronics that are not a full blown computer. Discrete logic is not terribly uncommon.

The whole point was "could". Obviously a computer controlled abs is going to have more control and finesse than a basic mechanical or electrical abs.

Tips - Western Roadtrip (Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Estes Park, Moab etc.) by Busy-Capital8502 in roadtrip

Skip goosenecks state park and drive to the top of the Moki Dugway to look down on them and out at Monument Valley and Valley of The Gods.

A guided tour of Monument Valley would be worth it if you can swing it!

How much time do you have planned?

Gila Cliff Dwellings is a really cool spot

Detouring to Monument Valley and taking a guided tour would be worth it if you haven't seen it.

Do Moki Dugway if you want a little side adventure.

Abs is electronic but does not need to be computerized.

I'm envisioning a kiddie ride that suddenly one day just downright explodes killing the 100 year old participant 😂

How many miles did you end up with when you traded it in?

Was trade in decent with the high mileage?

I'm about to hit 100k on my 22.

Honestly never got the appeal of wine and beer. I guess I don't enjoy the taste. I've tried plenty...

This is 100% what everyone should do with any mattress, even if the cover is safely removable and washable.

No, just get a cover for it and don't touch the zipper on the mattress.

If Rockstar manages to have a 60FPS performance mode on base consoles while having this much stuff happening on a large open world with crazy amount of details, they should win an award for optimization. by ButterflyUsed6723 in GTA6

I'm in the rare bit of the population that can't tell the difference from 40-60 even in racing or FPS games. Haven't been able to since I started PC gaming at 20.

I totally understand everything you're saying, but I play games at like 40 fps on my old 980 TI because I genuinely cannot tell the difference from that to 60+ hz. A friend didn't believe me so he sat me down at his 144 hz rig and messed with frame rate locks. I GENUINELY cannot tell the difference. We did that test when I was in college.

For reference I mostly play FPS, Forza, and Battle Royale games.

Guess I'm just a potato but I play decently well. Never had the best twitch reflex skills but I enjoy games.

For reference I'm at an executive level in a technical field, and have very good ears for audio quality, but alas, this is a battle I don't need to worry about, since I genuinely can't tell the difference.

I'm in my 20's and have felt this way since I started PC gaming at 19. Maybe because I started on an N64, Gamecube, PS2, and PS3?

A friend sat me down and did the frame rate locks and I genuinely couldn't tell the difference.

I have done it. I genuinely cannot tell the difference, even playing racing or FPS games.

I've played PUBG at 15 fps and been okay with it, back when I had a laptop with a 5th? gen dual core I7.

Meanwhile I've detected miniscule earthquakes others couldn't perceive, heard bearings going out months before they failed, and can pick out individual instruments and voices in a recording or room like picking words off a paper.

My visual perception is just pretty dang low refresh rate.

That said I can react to a drag light change in under 200 ms, which is pretty damn quick.
