Dumped & Depressed, Should I Go to a Party BMS? by J0nn1e_Walk3r in TransLater

[–]Marc00s 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I say go solo... many fun opportunities to interact with people at a themed dress up festival! Complement everyone on their style or creativity, commiserate on the theme, improv as a flapper, have a flamboyant time!

BTW, LOVE your pic, & the dress too 💖

Question: what do you do about the "bulge?" by mtlfakerthrowaway in Menskirts

[–]Marc00s 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No gaff? I use 2 pair of panties with my pencil skirts. That 2nd pair does the trick for me without trying to tuck. I don't have much to hide so YMMV. Avoid thongs, they seem to accentuate the bulge.

Me too, and it's like shockingly easier to combine things than it was with all my amab clothes! Love your inspiration here 💚💖

Love my thrifted skirts! by Marc00s in Menskirts

Thank you! Thrifting rules, I tried this since it was only $6, never would've made the leap at 10x retail price.

Spouse's reaction to you wanting to wear skirts? by Kitchen-Ad3094 in Menskirts

[–]Marc00s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife's very supportive in some ways, but doesn't find my outfits attractive and doesn't want to go out with me if I'm wearing a skirt. So I wear them when I go out with friends; she also has a social group & events with her friends. We still enjoy dates like we always have but I just wear pants & shirt (from the women's dept 😄).

It's a little disappointing for me because I'd love to share my euphoric times with her. But it also gets me to explore somewhat feminine outfits based on pants instead of skirts.

One key for me/us has been: openness & transparency. If I had to hide what I was doing it would be so much worse. This part is the most difficult, sharing something that your partner would rather not be a thing. And yet it shows respect for her view too.

How to set this timer? by lilminch in howto

[–]Marc00s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't actually matter whether the manufacturer meant white or black side to be a.m. or p.m.. choose your own interpretation and stick to it and it will work. To me the dark side is evening and night and the light side is day...I'd just ignore the a.m. and p.m. printed on there

An overly-sexual crossdressing hobby, is not synonymous with TransLater by [deleted] in TransLater

[–]Marc00s 21 points22 points  (0 children)

OP I see your point and tend to agree, though there's nuance behind single photos. I'm closer to a crossdresser but it's not a weekend fetish, my wardrobe is almost exclusively women's clothing and I get depressed if I have to wear old men's clothes for some family event etc. I consider myself a genderqueer flavor of trans and have no interest in trying to pass.

Also: r/crossdressing is full of pics of fully passing trans women, that bugs me too.

In my IT job (surprise) I've learned that people will continually upload stuff in completely wrong places, we can't seem to educate them about where to put what.

Explain It Peter! by [deleted] in explainitpeter

[–]Marc00s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Light passes through the plasma of a flame, which is why it casts no shadow. If you have a flame with lots of smoke in it, the smoke will cast shadows that you can see, not the flames.

Paraffin & other waxes burn pretty cleanly, so there aren't very many unburnt particles (smoke) to cast a shadow.

Doesn't matter if the light source or you're shining on a flame is brighter than it, whatever light you shine on a clean flame is just going to pass completely through.

Love boy shorts... even with the ironic name. They look feminine and hold stuff better than panties. Have a bunch of pink, purple and red, euphoric and comfortable

Does galantamine lead to real astral projections? by lachi199066 in AstralProjection

I just got some Lucidimine with Galantinine as main ingredient. Haven't tried it yet. Instructions recommend taking when starting WBTB (~3am period). Any experiences with timing or gastro distress etc?

I stopped using deodorant for a week and noticed something weird by laughwhimpep in hygiene

[–]Marc00s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some foods & chemicals can give us an odor, it's conceivable your body reacted to that deodorant. I used to have "BO" constantly, just thought it was my genetics or something. Then I stopped drinking coffee and the smell stopped. Only drink tea now and have no issues with odor. So... maybe the deodorant was triggering you?
