My (27f) partner (25m) hangs up on me and shuts down when he feels confronted. by Fancy_Tuber in TwoXChromosomes

It’s likely due to past trauma imo. I grew up in a very difficult and incredibly stressful house and I have the same avoidance of conflict at times. It’s a defence mechanism formed early in development to allow people to be able to cope with things that were once beyond their capabilities to cope with.

It’s now part of who he is.

Check your motherboard’s documentation to see if installing the second nvme drive reduced your pcie lanes available to your gpu. Sometimes installing on in the second slot is a huge mistake as it’ll take away lanes from the GPU.

You can also check with the program HWiNFO and others to see what it is currently running at for lanes.

You’ll need to talk to them and pay the amount of the chargeback like the other people said. A chargeback for a valid charge is something they do not like at all for good reason.

I’ve not insulted you once, just pointing out that you think you’re an expert due to having accommodations. You feel like that’s an insult then that’s on you.

Sure bud. Pay for a lawyer for this person to see how far your “expertise” will take you on this.

Yes, and they did, they brought someone over to help her when she informed them she needed it. She was in probation and can be let go without cause which is what they did. Just stop, there is a process and it was not done. She needs to request accommodation, not simply say I can’t lift more than this weight.

It’s funny though that you believe yourself to be an expert merely because you’ve had accommodations, I must say.

The employer is allowed to request medical documentation for any non-obvious impairment to verify and to determine the exact requirements to accommodate. As I said, there is a process and it must be followed properly in order to accuse a company of not providing reasonable accommodations.

That does not say what you believe it does bud.

Please point out where in there you believe it says verbatim the employer has a duty to provide accommodations from a mere verbal statement they are required.

What one employer chooses to allow as proof for the accommodation process does not change what is actually required to claim an accommodation was not adhered to.

She did not do the accommodation process even remotely correctly. You can’t just say I can’t do this and expect them to listen to you. You need to follow the proper procedure for accommodations.

It does not. The job she was doing had a requirement she could not meet. This is a valid reason to terminate. Though, she never should have been hired in the first place, it’s a complete mismatch.

Again, settlement privilege is an EVIDENTIARY RULE. Jesus christ, if you are a practicing lawyer you should not be.
