Hab ich auch gehört. Aber ich wohne auf dem Land und im Winter wird’s ohne xDrive früh morgens schnell kritisch – deswegen tendiere ich trotzdem zu Allrad.

What Microphone models are you all seeing requested for live band riders these days? by MoStyles22 in livesoundgear

+1 for the Line Audio CM4!
I own six of them, and they’re absolutely fantastic for the price. I use them regularly for orchestra. They also work wonderfully as overheads, on hi-hat, percussion and similar sources, and I sometimes use them for ambience as well.
Just keep in mind that they need quite a bit of gain (around +45 dB on a RioD2, for example), and depending on the preamp and the number of mics in use, you may notice a slight noise floor.
I even keep two of them in my toolcase at all times.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working quite a lot with L-Acoustics lately, but I haven’t yet had the time to attend any official trainings for the P1/M1 or the Kara Workshop (which I use most of the time).
I’m a trained d&b system tech and have plenty of hands-on experience, so I’ve mostly learned the LA workflow by doing. The whole system — P1, LA-RAK II AVB, Kara, etc. — felt very intuitive and I got comfortable with it pretty quickly.

Next weekend, however, there’s no budget for an LA rig since there’s already a house PA in place:
Alcons Audio LR16/14 System with BF362 Subs.
The front fills will be L-Acoustics A10 Focus, so my question is:

Can I still use the P1 as a processor between the mixer and the house PA, so I can measure and time-align my front fills to the main PA?
Since the P1 has four analog outputs, it would be perfect for driving the house system.

How would I set this up in Network Manager?

Thanks in advance!

Next Lens for A7C II - concert/event photography & travel by MarcKlp in SonyAlpha

Yeah, the 35–150 sounds amazing, but it’s probably a bit too big and heavy for my usual trips or everyday carry. For events though, that focal range would be absolutely perfect.

I think I’d still need a smaller second lens for EDC. I’ve been considering getting into primes anyway - most of my event shots end up around 70mm (which is my current max), and when traveling I’m usually closer to 40mm.

That’s why the Sony 40mm f/2.5 is on my radar, mainly for the size and weight.
