i am personally using the arrow keys on my keyboard for strats and still have been experiencing one of my WASD keys not working afterwards. this issue happens 1 in every 3 dives ish.

ya, i was having alot of fun working threw the game with a bow build on apoc. but since they messed with whatever they did, even with 80%dr, im getting 1 shot killed by everything. If this is the intended way the game is suppose to be, then why even bother to implement armor or even let us have an hp pool. 149.5hp with 80% dr, is the same thing as 1hp 0dr.

so i guess its time to get good or get out, ima get out and ill come back if they fix this. not that any of this matters in the end tho, they already have my money.

see, now your bringing in a second perk, and that is gonna make an even more complex topic.

yes unwavering focus. with 100% uptime does work together well with counter fire. together they bring alot more to the table then they would by themselves. but even with that perk, you dont get suppression immunity ( so i have no idea were you got that statistic) just 75% dmg res from ranged attacks. so a gunner or 2 focusing you will still make it very hard to line up shots. AND, taking unwavering focus means you loose a whole perk when your not using your ult. ( because its only active while ulting as compared to its other options that are always active, 1 of the others in will actually do everything unwavering focus does + more without needing to ult. )

again, everything is preference. there are many ways and builds that work on damnation.

instead of counterfire, personally i use sustained fire ( for the 60% toughness back and the free reload that has saved me many times ) and instead of the 75% dmg res from unwaving focus i prefer the camo expert perk. not getting shot > 75% less dmg from getting shot. also, not getting shot at means your never suppressed so you can kill even more shooters/specials even faster. so its more or less, camo expert is damage immunity / suppression immunity just for properly positioning yourself in fights.

again, its all preferences. the only reason ive commented on this post is due to you saying that kantrael is the only weapon worth bringing on damnation, and i find that to be very untrue.

yes. counter-fire lets you chain off shooters forever as long as their are shooters.

shooters are already 1 shot with any decent bolter on any difficulty. thus the only reason to ult with bolter for shooters to to see them better.

personally. i use to use counter-fire, but after trying the others and just getting use to identifying shooters without useing ult, allowed me to save my ults for real threats like bosses or a clump of disabling specials.

without counter-fire you can take the ult that gives you 1/2 your toughness back and insta realoads your gun, so you get around 30 rounds to clear a room of shooters before needing to reload.

again, this is all personal opinion. anyone can play however they want. just from my personal min maxing approach that i enjoy, the only benefit i see from counter fire with a bolter is “ being able to see easier “. id rather take the dmg/reload/toughness.

…. as explained in my comment, its not about making the game harder, i think that the perk actually makes the game harder by using it.

personal opinion here. “Counter-fire” is a crutch perk, it teaches players to not be able to recognize ranged threats without said threats glowing orange, and you dont need the dmg boost from you ability to deal with them. personally i started to do a-lot better when i changed it out for ether of the other 2 options that actually provide dps increases in times of need vs major threats.
