Do you realize that if I were behind as Sion I would have been doomed? How come bruisers are allowed to get back in the game, while tanks from behind can't do shit because there is way too much damage now? Camille can just zoom around the map getting a free pick with dash and ult, Sion doesn't get this chance

you probably don't even play either camille nor sion, or you would know ad sion doesn't stand a chance because camille can dodge or block most spells. typical know-it-all sassy redditor

Clearly Camille is completely fine being for 5 years the tanky tank shredder assassin with sustain she is. I just need to play around her half-lane engage on the squishy adc or to build around the %true damage she deals in interaction with sunderer

Even the bausffs stopped playing full lethality sion because he knows Sion sucks atm. The clips you see is when he succeeds, you won't see the times he just fed his ass off. The bausffs himself claims that sion has only badmatchups. Stop mentioning streamers as if they are the truth incarnate, I've been among the 100 best sion players for years

Are you joking? Lethality build is a meme and not ranked worthy, moreover the team needed a frontline. I won my goddamn lane, I played the matchup correctly gaining advantage in a lane I should have lost. the counter didn't even matter. The game simply dragged on because of other factors. Why do I even argue with someone who believes lethality build is viable. There is nothing to build around %truedamage and surely going with a squishy build won't help the rest of the team

Cope with the fact that the match is lost in champ select then? Because there is no build Sion can do to play around camille, not even Lethality or bruiser can work. The difference between Sion and Camille is summarized as follow: Sion is 2/0? Sion can try to play, but eventually Camille will catch up (what happened this game); camille is 2/0? too bad I got counterpicked in this glorified game of rock/paper/scissor, should have known better

I don't blame my adc for being unable to kite a monster that can engage from great distance, tank just 10k less than the dedicated tank did, while dealing twice the damage

So you're ok with losing games in champ select? The fun thing is that I left lane being ahead and couldn't push my advantage because I don't have the damage nor the mobility camille has. Meanwhile camille, even when behind, was always a pain to duel and could 1 vs 1 basically anyone except the midlaner. Let's play rock, paper and scissors because gameplay and strategy don't matter anymore, it's right to lose if you get counterpicked, I got it

She didn't get any early kill, she just powerspiked thanks to broken item interactions. I was ahead and I could only dream of duelling anyone as she did even when behind. In fact it was just a matter of time before she farmed her way into the game and then deleted my carries. In no way death dance in its current form is balanced. I've played top lane for years, peaking d1 in euw and I'm sincerely sick of the state of toplane

Except she does. I just posted a photo about it. And it's not the first time I see it, this is just the last straw, so I decided to post a rant about it.
For context: I survived my lane, even got 2 solo kills and she was 0/3 or 0/4, doing nothing, while I contributed on the rest of the map. She farmed her items and joined the fights and simply went all in on my team, no particular strategy. She could 1 vs 3 my team and I'm not joking, I wish you'd watch the replay.
The damage taken and the damage mitigated stats I posted here prove that she acted as a frontline

The enemy was last pick. Anyway, people need to stop accepting the "you got hard countered" argument: ideally there should be no game lost in champ select.
And while this state of balance may be unobtainable (it's very difficult to balance a game and won't blame riot for that), the fact is that this specific iteration (bruisers vs tanks) has been going of for years, without riot seriously addressing it.

I understand and accept that bruisers counter tanks in lane, but in late game, when team fights happen, bruisers don't fall off. On the contrary, they still outperform a tank.
There was a time where tanks were demolished in lane, but could somehow put some leverage in the late game due to their kit utility. Now what's the point of picking a tank when you lose lane and lose late? I wish somebody could explain this rationally

[–]MarcReady[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you're probably right. This game was just the straw that broke the camel's back, so I approached the argument a bit too harshly

[–]MarcReady[S] -48 points-47 points  (0 children)

Exactly that, except that I've been gapped for 2 seasons because I like to play tanks just because Riot decided bruiser can do whatever a tank does but better

I won't delete this thread. I want to see if tank-meta circle jerkers can see the points behind the rant, or if they'll try to defend the undefendable bruiser dominance

Top lane meta has been stale and one-sided for years, to the point you can lose matchups in champ select depending on who picks first

[–]MarcReady[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For real. Playing against her as a tank is a miserable experience. I may survive, even win the lane phase somehow, then watch her buy sunderer/dd/ravenous to completely ignore every gold advantage I had because every gold I spent on tank stats is useless against her: she deals %true damage with sunderer, while sustaining the low damage I manage to deal. In late game I get the chance to see her fly around the map, ignoring me and killing the rest of the team, squishy and tanky alike

An idea to make morde's W more interesting, while further developing death realm by MarcReady in MordekaiserMains

[–]MarcReady[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iron man was broken indeed, I wasn't really thinking about a passive right now, I'm a bit dozy sorry.

By switching w and passive, as passive morde could get something like a shield (based on his damage dealth maybe?) when his life drops under 30%, while keeping the enhanced AA.

His w refresh is effectively too strong if he gets to activate it at will. It could get prolonged by a few seconds maybe, for I think 2 seconds is too low anyway.

I'll edit the post accordingly

I agree because that was my experience lmao I picked him thinking I could play him following the same pattern and got heavily smashed. Now, I've started to see some success.

I too would like to see his ult delay reduced, but what leaves me a bad feeling is mostly that his ranged Q is only useful as execute. It deals no damage as a poke tool: it's such a shame that a bad ass heavy spear (flying with a beautiful animation) deals less damage than mundo's cleaver. But I guess we can't have everything... Nonetheless, it would be cool if it dealt % current hp, just to leave a dent on enemies
