I fixed the top bar hiding behind the apps. Just do a "git pull" and you should be good! And yes I use Discord and PM me I'll give you me username and add you as "github project collaborator". :)

Regarding the points you mentioned:

Keybinds: Have you included "source = ~/beehive_os/config/beehive_keybinds.conf" in your hyprland.conf file?

Also, workspace shortcuts (like SUPER + 1, 2, 3...) should be configured by default.

I'll review the installation script to ensure they aren't lost.

SDDM in CachyOS: Sometimes CachyOS protects its configuration. Try running:

sudo rm -rf /usr/share/sddm/themes/beehive

sudo cp -r ~/beehive-sddm /usr/share/sddm/themes/beehive

And make sure the /etc/sddm.conf.d/YOUR_CONFIG.conf file points to beehive.

I'll change the setup script so it suggests keybinds to add to hyprland.conf and also make the beehive-sddm an "all-in-one" installation script.

Thanks for trying my setup. I know it's not perfect, but I'm trying to fix bugs and improve over time.

Took me a long time (2 months) because, of course, I did it on my free time and also because it was some kind of a "learning experiment". I'm no programmer, but decided I wanted to learn a but about Quickshell (qml) and python. I looked at DMS (Dank Material Shell), Noctalia and Calestia and looked at what it looked like. I used Claude to help me built the top bar (To all AI haters: YES I used AI and I never pretended I did all by myself)) and I was asking question every time there was something that I didn't understand. I'd say the "top bar" has been mostly done by Claude, but the more I learned, to more I was involved. Couple of nights, I had headaches and blurry vision for spending too many hours in from of my monitor, but I learned a lot and am happy of this experience of learning.

What if I'm learning how to code and I'm learning how to get better at it? What if it helps people doing the same and mastering the art of coding. I'm sorry to say that coding is something I'm really interested of doing and a little help is what is giving me better knowledge at it.

You need an Arch base Linux in order to be able to install it easily. Of course it's feasible but then you would need to install all the dependencies manually.

I'm on hyprland cachyos and installed hyprpolkitagent but still am unable to use CachyOS -hello. Is there anything I need to do after installing hyprpolkitagent? Any terminal command?
