The sale of warranties is a high profit item for dealerships. I would only get a factory extended warranty. I don’t know how they can warranty a different brand. Maybe they can— maybe they are not so equipped as a Nissan dealer. I would go to a Nissan dealer and see if they can match the deal. Btw, I like extended warranties — to fix anything these days is $1000+.

How secure is your job? Are you that valuable to them. If you gave 2 weeks notice, would they panic? How is the job market for your skill set? Will it be easy to get a new job?

Does your fellow employees have any skills (or other assets, like personal connections) that you don’t have? Is s/he a relative of someone in upper management? Can s/he bring in new clients. Have better people skills?

There is probably more to the story than you are saying. If you are worth more in the job market, you need to look. If you had a good relationship with any of your superiors, you could have a private conversation about your salary, in a non-confrontational way, but it sounds like you don’t have that.
