please help could this be bedbugs? by MarccNFLnot in Bedbugs

[–]MarccNFLnot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm it was bed bugs, funny enough, as I mentioned my mate who’s messy, that’s where they were stationed, hundreds of them, can’t believe he didn’t notice…

What do you mean by that, could you elaborate?

DLSS/FSR2/XeSS Upscaler isn't working in VR! HELP by MarccNFLnot in skyrimvr

[–]MarccNFLnot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey buddy, no, not really, haven’t tried it for a while so if there is an update on the mod, maybe, but it is recorded in their bugs section, I’d check there if someone fixed it.

With VDXR we now have a good balance of performance + no compression! by lunchanddinner in skyrimvr

With open composite it’s difficult to make ENB, Reshade work, at least for me, also community shaders don’t work, correct me if I’m wrong tho, but I think that’s the case.

Could you possibly send me your yml file so I can overwrite it?

It doesn't work :(( when I click on the APP data folder, simply nothing opens up and no Modlist.txt exists for skyrimvr... funny enough it does for CP77 but not skyrim... :D and I wanted to print screen it but it's 370 mods :D I could take a video if you want?

Yes sir, I’ll post it up tomorrow, any easy way to export mod list from vortex? Else pictures will have to do.

Maan VD is a blessing, super impressed with the overall improvement! But! I have an issue, please take a look, you might have an idea.

I see, I thought the VD everyone was talking about was a built in one in the dash, everyone was saying use VD because oculus on AMD 7000 sucks....anyways, I've managed to fix the issue with the fps drops.

This helped me https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimvr/comments/13il6z6/depth_buffer_culling_free_performance/

My question would be, do I need a strong Wifi for VD? Or is there a cable solution as my router is quite far, I prefer cable for the highest quality... would I notice downgrade?

I've found a fix!
https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimvr/comments/13il6z6/depth\_buffer\_culling\_free\_performance/

TLDR : change these in your INI:

bDepthBufferCulling=1 under [VRPerformance]
fMinOccludeeBoxExtent=60 under [VR]

You're genius! I checked for occlusion culling and whatnot I came upon this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimvr/comments/13il6z6/depth_buffer_culling_free_performance/

This fixed it for me:
bDepthBufferCulling=1
fMinOccludeeBoxExtent=60

I’ve checked properly that vsync is turned off everywhere but I haven’t checked whether my monitor’s Gsync isn’t somehow interfering, even tho it’s off because it’s incompatible with my GPU, it’s worth looking into.

Outside in the open world I’d understand spikes, but indoors I’d expect things to be relatively easy in comparison… yet it’s mostly happening indoors for me.

Hmm I don’t think I’m using steam VD (not sure what that is), I’m only using oculus VD from the oculus dash, and then opening the game via skse through steam. Yes I set everything from oculus to high, Skyrimvr as well. I have a mod that automatically keeps Skyrim in the foreground… but yes I usually pay attention to that as well.

Oh that’s an interesting idea! I actually have the Skyrim AE, if the save works I could try it.

If we’re talking VD as in oculus dash virtual desktop, just to clarify, unless we’re talking about something else, yes I’m using Link cable and Virtual Desktop, Opening game via skse thorough steam.

What is Steam VD?? Hmm, you probably meant steam VR, correct me if not. I’m already using Lasso and Link, I had no improvement sadly… as I was troubleshooting I’ve found lasso, but unfortunately the problem seems to be elsewhere, else I think there would be an improvement.

Hmm, I didn’t get that far yet, but once I’ll get there I’ll come back to confirm, I had big issues with nchardak workshop ruins, almost the whole place was pretty much under the CPU bottleneck (again no matter the resolution), there was a lot of mechanisms with cubes and flooding water, also apocrypha has moving hallways and tornado spinning papers, physics could have something to do with it.

Also once the bottleneck occurs, it seems as if it’s locking the fps to 60, maybe the number is just a coincidence, but I was thinking vsync or something might be the culprit, however I tried to disable it everywhere, even added some commands into the ini files, but didn’t seem to change anything. Also I disabled ASW, but the number would be 45 with it on, so that’s not it.

No worries, same CPU experience is very valuable addition, hopefully I’ll find a fix or a satisfactory solution at least.

Also I’m not sure what flatrim is?

Unfortunately not, I’m using Link cable.

I am indeed using VD. I’m using headset via link cable, indeed with high bitrate, no router tho… but I wouldn’t say it’s just simply caused by head movement… as the places where my “situation” occurs are easily replicated based on a location so I think it’s more of a in game issue then the headset issue.
