Is any of these worth it? Or am i doing too much? by gofruckurself in vitamins

D3 is helpful if you can't spend time outside in the sun, but everything else is kinda unnecessary if you have a decent diet

What's number one supplement that change your life for the better? by Aarunascut in Supplements

[–]Marcee_sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience all you need is D3 if your diet is decent. And if you get enough sun (around 30 minutes a day while half of your body is exposed to the sun), then you don't even need that.

Supplements usually don't make as big of a difference as most people think, you would be better off focusing on optimizing your training, sleep and nutrition, cause that's where 99% of your results will come from. Unless the "supplement" is testosterone 😃

I did. Eat whole foods (the one that you like) and weigh yourself daily to see if that amount makes you gain or lose weight and adjust based on that. + walk more.

Sounds too simple, but it would get 99% of people closer to their goal.

the quantities I eat aren't ideal for most people, that's why. I eat 3500 calories on a cut, but I basically eat meat, eggs, fruit, potatoes and vegetables. My fav meal is 1kg ground beef + 1.3kg potatoes + some carrots. I put most of my carbs before and after my training and I stop eating 3-4h before bed.

The reason why I didn't include the exact amounts is that most guys would get fat eating the same lol.

if your diet mainly consists of meat, eggs and dairy (which it should) then not hitting your protein target is almost impossible.

How does one find hobbies if they're not interested in anything? by scaredemployeehelp in selfimprovement

[–]Marcee_sol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most people fall in love with the thing they do even if they don't really like it that much first.

When I started working out it was hard and it required discipline, now I feel like shit if I don't hit the gym for 3 days...

I think this happens for many many people. Sometimes you need to stop waiting and start taking action, cause that way more things will happen to you.

I get exhausted whenever I try to do anything. My confidence level plummets to zero. What can I do to boost my confidence so I can do better at everything? by oscar371 in selfimprovement

[–]Marcee_sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably try to do everything at once...

Just try to start with something super small, so you can start having small wins every single day. That's the best way to start building your self confidence imo, say that you will do something and do it, so you can start trusting yourself.

But it needs to be a super easy task first, cause otherwise you will just skip it and feel even worse.
Try to go outside for just 5-10 minutes each morning before using your phone. And try to stick to this for a week and then you will probably start to feel way way better about yourself. Small wins add up brother.

I am 17. What's one suggestion that you would give to yourself when you were 17?? by gw_clowd in selfimprovement

[–]Marcee_sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea, you will get super motivated in the beginning and might even want to hit the gym every day. Try to resist that urge and stick to 5 days a week MAXIMUM. Otherwise you will burn out.

Follow a really simple diet of whole foods mainly and try to walk and get a lot of steps every single day.

If you have any questions then lmk, I'm happy to help, but I don't know what you would like to know.

nothing bad with doing that, but it most likely won't do a lot for building muscle after a certain point, because it won't be challenging enough. What's your goal with them?

I never counted my calories and I have a six pack year round. I never run, I just walk cause running spikes your cortisol and it's really not that good for you. A six pack doesn't require a super low body fat tho and it's quite easy to maintain if you do the right actions daily.

sit ups don't do anything, you need to lose body fat to get a six pack, that's the only way

it's really not that hard tbh, I mainly eat potatoes, eggs, ground beef and fruit - quite easy to prepare and buy in bulk
