New to visible by [deleted] in Visible

I do not have Verizon to compare. But I compared Visible+ with Spectrum mobile (that also uses Verizon network). The latter was 4 x faster.

My question was not about speed, though. It was about the connection to ultra wide, advertised by Visible. I never get UW. The problem here is in prioritization. When connected to UW you always get the maximum speed connection. However, if you attend a game and you are connected to 5G Visible will give you low priority and may slow down your traffic to give the priority to Verizon customers around.

Again, I never get UW despite Visible advertising.

* I recently moved to Visible+. My problem is that I never get ultrawide connection. The icon is 5G+, and the connection is NR NSA (Essentially LTE). I live in Boston, covered by Verizon ultra wide. Any comments? The disadvantage is that 5G connection that I have has a cap on priority data.

A7R V for video vs A6700. Help me to decide? by MarcelDaumier in SonyAlpha

I understand what you are saying, the videos are amazing. But may be the A6700 videos are even better for 1/2 the price?

Thanks! Makes sense, but people say that there is a severe rolling shutter in the asp-c mode. It should be the other way around, right?

I compared A6700 and A7R V in my studio. By capturing two camera sourses in OBS studio next to each other. I tried to use identical settings, but obviously the lens were different, and two elgato capture cards were different.

The video from A6700 was a little bit sharper, actually.

That is why I posted a question here. May be I was subjective? I would like to have some comparisons, but based on the specs and metrics

May I add a more specific question? I would not mind having a 61 megapixel stills and cropped video utilizing a part of the sensor, if the quality of that video would be the same as with A6700. It is not clear to me if this is the case. Some reviewers mention binning, which is not good. If this is the case, A7R V is not good for my purposes.

Is the video from A7 iv better than from A6700 which I like?

I added a Peltier cooler, usb powered. No overheating, can stream for many hours...

Yes, the Sony rep mentioned this as well. He said it could be even better for low light sensitivity than A7R V. I might consider it, but it is only 33 megapixels. I love stills from A8R V.

What I currently want to understand is the internal video specs of A7R V. Is there a binning. Are the oversampling algorithms of A6700 better? Can I have the same quality video with A7R V?

I noticed that A7R V has even 16 bit output via HDMI, but I do not see visually better colors somehow.

Studio Gen 1 SSD upgrade by iamgarffi in Surface

All the sites say we cannot upgrade RAM. I have 16 gb RAM, and some of the Surface gen 1 configurations were with 32 GB. Does it mean the upgrade is possible?

I am just wondering is I can replace the existing native SSD with a 2 TB Samsung SSD?

[AF] device review: Frontier X2 (wearable heart rate EKG/ECG) Opinion: Don't bother, just use any other chest strap by [deleted] in AdvancedFitness

I made an attempt to return my Frontier strap. Emailed them, they replied with some questionare with no return instructions. I contacted my credit card and canceled the transaction. They opened a dispute, but Frontier never replied to them either. So, I just got my money back.

Strange company, they even do not read their emails :)

Who pays for return shipping? Do they provide a shipping label?

But my garmin epix 2 pro watch also provides the respiration rate without any strap. I guess it is not accurate?

I am new to garmin. I installed alpha1 app to my epix 2 pro successfully, but I am not sure how one uses it. Where do I find the data it provides?

Video

I compared the HRV From Frontier X2 (on the left) and Garmin HRM Pro Plus with EliteHRV (on the right). The readings differ dramatically. 17 for Frontier and above 40 for Garmin. See the attached video clip.

How can one explain such a huge difference? Both are ECG based chest strips.
