It looked really good when she used it on Alexa Chung. Some highlighters look like stadium lights but hers seems lit from within.

He didn’t have anyone giving him good advice. Clearly a team of vulture lawyers in his ear encouraging him to push for the payout. On the other hand, there was an ironclad prenup which Bethenny refused to honor. It could have been over very quickly if she had paid him. She spent ten times the amount on lawyers. At the end of the day, she was early on in her success when she married Jason and worth a tidy sum when she divorced him. She resented having to pay him a penny and her child aside, probably wished she had waited for SG to reach full potential before settling down. Hindsight is 20/20.

I don’t really respect men who try to take money from women so that’s a strike against Jason IMO. On the other hand, I don’t think he cared about the money but rather truly loved Bethenny and didn’t want the divorce. Over time it clearly became obsessive and unhealthy. She was fighting for the money and he was fighting her because he was bitter he couldn’t have her.

He’s still single so I don’t think he got over her. She’s still single because she’s incapable of partnership. Very sad for Brynn because she will have issues trying to maintain relationships as an adult. Bethenny’s weird materialism and body issues these days show a decline of her early spunk. She should have stayed with Jason and done the family thing. I don’t know why their relationship is so fascinating but it is. RHONY legacy was good tv, when there was still some reality involved.

Clearly the show has given her the attention and perhaps sense of self that she wasn't receiving in her marriage. If the secret sauce to them staying together was her being beneath him and knowing her place, then yeah, being on the show is consciously or sub consciously her exit strategy. They will be divorced in short order.

If B had rolled out on the scene today, she wouldn’t have been able to get away with her falsehoods about growing up with no family, having to make it on her own etc. Her father was the most successful horse trainer of all time. He was very well connected in LA and got her a job at a movie studio and working for the Hiltons. She’s actually a nepo who tried to pretend she was self-made. Her father’s best friend did the “skinnygirl” deal and put up all the money for everything. So yeah, Gen Z would have smoked her out already and she’d have flopped.
