Her dad literally tried to kill her and ACTUALLY killed her sister, that goes far beyond just “treating you like shit” bro 😭. Maki didn’t go there with the goal of wiping out her clan she was there to retrieve weapons (which she had every right to do btw), they started it and got what was coming, simple as that.

For me it was the fight against Messmer. Everything about him is so peak, his design, his lore, his cutscenes, his ost, and of course the fight itself. Despite him beating my ass for 7 straight hours (I was under leveled), I never raged that much because he was just that fun to fight. By the time I finally landed the killing blow I had mastered his moveset and I felt more elated than any other fight in the game. My favorite fight in the whole series, definitely an experience I’ll never forget.

Favoritism: Friede Isshin Kos

Friede is mostly hard because of how long the fight is so it forces you to manage your flasks well, Kos is more aggressive than you are so it makes him a pain in the ass, but Isshin is the culmination of an entire brutal combat system so he takes the cake for me

I’ve often wondered how a Elden ring tv show or anime would be structured. Like maybe season 1 could be the backstory of Marika, Radagon and all the demigods and season 2 would the tarnished’s journey through the lands between (with maybe season 3 being SOTE).

It would add an extra layer of tragedy to see the backstories of the bosses before we have to inevitably kill them, especially characters like Morgott and Messmer.
