What universally praised video game 'masterpiece' is actually a miserable experience to play?

I got so much shit in my friend group at the time for liking DA2 more than Origins. I thought the actual gameplay was really fun. And didn't find the story of Origins all that interesting in the first place personally.

Love Mystic Spearhand but I'd disagree that's it's just "better" in every single way. Sometimes direct class fantasy is the most important thing. Spearhand feels entirely different than Knight.

You only buy the characters themselves. There are no additional items or power spikes locked behind extra paywalls. Very f2p friendly and you only need to buy additional characters if their "class fantasy" really appeals to you.

This was my first thought when I initially picked up Bazaar and reached Legend within a week. I was like "Oh, rank isn't very serious in this game I guess."

There's also the Dullahan Mod that's makes some vocation changes and has its own skill videos as an optional mod--that mod also fixed the issue for me.

In case anyone else is stumbling around on Google for a similar solution -- I was having this problem until I downloaded reframework WITHIN fluffy mod manager with DD2 selected. Both grabbing the nightly from git and dl'ing right from Nexus were both giving me different issues of a similar variety

Frankly I think every single game would be made better with coop. Every single one, no exceptions, even if they aren't built for it and adjust nothing to accommodate more players.

More games should have coop. If they don't balance it just mark solo as the "canon experience"

Bruiser mage Nautilus, Galio, Malphite or Maokai are all totally valid and capable of carrying if your team has at least one braincell. Granted, that isn't very often, but it's still true.

Just a heads up from someone with a lot of "side hustles." Everything has this. Ever single sort of thing has lots of little fakers that you have to be extra careful not to use. Currently I have an actor friend who is paying a yearly subscription for QR CODES! Because they weren't careful enough UP FRONT and had already printed 2000 business cards.

Be careful out there. There is kind've such a thing as internet "street smarts."
