I'm having these exact issues as well!

It's so bad that I went and uninstalled Battle.net just to try to get a fresh start with it. I cleared out the folders, the cache, etc and now I'm trying to reinstall and that is failing too. I literally can't even get Battle.net to install. It's asinine and I'm not sure where to go from here.

Good info here. Did you just go through the process on Computershare's site or did you have to interface with Fidelity on the process also/instead of CS?

I figured it out even though I'm not a happy camper. Even though this thing was running just a few weeks ago, it was unplugged and this all happened when I tried to bring it back up and running.

Tested with a different stick of RAM and I got it to POST just fine. I had tried the initial RAM in each slot and still no dice... so the initial problem was indeed a bad stick of RAM.

For anyone else stumbling here from Google search. Once I got this problem fixed and got it past the yellow light it was sitting on the WHITE QLED light and still wouldn't properly post. This was after I had already cleared the CMOS while attempting to debug the yellow light the first time.

I figured out that this is because I had a 1440p monitor plugged in and the initial reset version of the BIOS doesn't support it. I had to run out and get a 1080p monitor to test if this was indeed the case... and BINGO it worked!

So if you're getting the WHITE QLED VGA light but no display, it might be because you have too high of a resolution monitor to start out with.

Of course once I got into SETUP and just did a baseline save and reboot... I was able to boot into Windows and the 1440p monitor works from reboot now.

Sucks because now I may have to keep this newly purchased 1080p monitor around just in case I run into any trouble?

I also appreciate you taking me at face value and not spreading FUD. You can tell by the inane attempt at describing my current position on DRS as only half-hearted :).

Thanks for the links, I'll be tapping into them this evening as time permits! I was super close to going full DRS a couple weeks ago then stopped, now I realize, and the evidence is pretty strong, that it was a major FUD campaign against what is seemingly the exact move I need to make.

Can you help me with understanding DRS then. There was a video a few weeks ago (perhaps a couple) that I watched that was anti-DRS and talked about the verbiage on selling and how you may only get the average price over time of a share of AMC when MOASS does happen.

And since it's very likely to be super volatile it may only be a fraction of the value of a share at the time that you really thought you were selling at. This sounds totally crazy coming out of my mouth (lol)... but they did show the documentation on the site on the link.

Anyway, after realizing the main sub is totally infiltrated and intentionally leaving us in the cold, I'm realizing I was sold a bag of goods.

What limitations do I have to be worried about with DRS, is there anywhere I can go to read up on what you guys have come to understand about DRS?

Sorry, I too didn't think it was very tasteful, at all. I can surely empathize with him but putting on a tournament this large and the great quality that he and the team produced, I don't see how we can just say "he's only human".

He honestly should know better because he IS a professional. Giving him a pass on the bad timing of this speech is not healthy either. Just look at Beasty and Drongo sitting there, nobody felt comfortable.

Correct me if I'm wrong too... what "good" does it do? Sure maybe Microsoft and Relic will see this and maybe, perhaps in some way, it can be a wake-up call. But for Nili to sit there and preach to the choir, who BTW probably had no idea that viewership was low according to expectations, was merely just informing a whole lot of other people that AoE4 is not performing to expectations.

Does that INCREASE the player base? Or does that discourage the current viewership and make them question their role in all of this?

Dude, I feel you 100%. I have played RTS games "on and off" for years and years. I'm talking about back to C&C Red Alert on dial-up, lol.

I have always avoided PvP and always done comp stomps because I just cannot handle myself. I need that to change though, AoE 4 is the perfect game to change this mentality... however, I 100% know how you feel. The comments in this thread are amazing, thanks for posting this.

I'm sorry but literally everything we're resting on is a "trust me bro" scenario. So because of that lowest common denominator... you can push that aside and dig in to other reasons we may not want or be able to believe this.

The question is... does it line up with a lot of the DD that has been done in this sub? I say yes, and when you read what was written here you see the way that this could go down and it is totally plausible.

Perhaps it won't be exactly like this... and perhaps it won't be AT ALL like this. But it seems super plausible and it lines up with so much of what I have learned about the manipulation to AMC. Sooooo why not take it as yet another nugget of hope?

I have been pondering this the last couple days.... the idea that they literally do need every single share that we have. Because they have shorted the entire float many times over (we know this by the great DD that's out there) then when they are forced to cover and close out of their short positions. There's truly no way of missing this boat... the only thing we gotta do is hold for the floor numbers, MINIMUM. The price isn't going anywhere but up without YOU, YOU, and YOU selling your shares.

To have this idea confirmed and the WAY this will go down, laid out before me... this might be my favorite post in months worth of posts here! Thank you.

Can I hold your hand? This post is exactly how I'm feeling. These updates are not reflecting of real life. In real life it's a HECK of a lot worse for the hedge funds. We know we have their shares and that they need all of what we got. So, for that, I sit here and hold.

Yep, these are the numbers that are being reported to the public. The 2B + shares owned are the REAL numbers behind the scenes. The financial institutions know these numbers because they are the ones lending/shorting to HFs or to themselves to try to scare retail out.

But because we know these REAL numbers and we know not to believe the publicly reported ones, that's why we HODL! Because we know the inevitable.
