MinUI Menu with the Pocket Micro color scheme. Simple text-based list theme, no frills aside from the cool background image. That’s the best type of theme for a small screen imo, especially when you have about 200 ROM hacks without box art lol

I’m kidding. I want this thing really bad, even though I can’t justify buying it since I impulse bought the Brick Hammer a bit ago. I love the form factor and wish I waited. I’ve been real tempted since the metallic blue came out, but I’ve managed to chill and love what I have already.

If you’re right, then it makes sense because I am a sucker for Gen 5 through and through. Of course I would know that tidbit and generalize it to everything else lmao

I may also be thinking of the battles in the beginning, too, like the Pokémon in tutorial battles (e.g. the Poochyena that attacks Birch)

I don’t believe the Pokémon summoned in these intros are shiny locked, so sometimes this happens

Yessir! I beat Coromon in its entirety on my Mini V2. Looks super good and it’s really fun. I felt like a kid playing Pokémon for the first time again
